The following morning, Yuan, Jin, the Guardian, and Bai Ryun went to a sealed wing on one of the peaks.

Yuan: "What is this?"

The Guardian: "It is a teleportation gate. We will go directly in front of the Tower."

They all stepped inside. There were mages from outside the Eastern Continent! Pillars, magical inscriptions, and a regulation device—it resembled the gate beneath the Holy Kingdom, but this one was very small in comparison.

Not much time passed before they were transported in front of the Tower within the Sect's territories.

Jin was still unresponsive, showing no signs of amazement. He thought to himself: Is there a teleportation gate here too? It's a bit weak, but it's useful in a situation like this. Damn you all, everything has become expected.

Bai Ryun looked at him for a moment, thinking: What is this? He hasn't asked about anything?

After a while, they reached the transport gate at the crossroads and entered the Tingai Tower.

Everything went with eerie smoothness, and the strangest part was that throughout the entire journey, Jin didn't ask a single question!

Finally, at the supervision office of the Tingai Kingdom Tower, they all exited.

Shortly after, they met the supervisors and boarded a luxurious carriage reserved for them.

The four of them sat in silence, with Jin staring out the window with indifference.

After a long silence, the Guardian asked: "Why are you so quiet? Aren't you going to ask about anything?"

Jin paused for a moment while looking out the window, then asked: "Why does this country resemble Japan? And why is this procession accompanying us?"

Bai Ryun: "Because this is the land of the Samurai; it truly resembles ancient Japan. And this procession is because we are political guests. Why have your questions become so childish?"

The boy looked out of the corner of his eye: "Childhood is beautiful... or so is the childhood of other people."

After a long time, the procession finally reached the Imperial Palace.

Jin asked: "Why do they call him an Emperor if you classify it as a Kingdom?"

The Guardian: "The people of this land call him that, and we classify it as such. It's simple."

Jin went quiet for a moment: "That's great."

They stepped down from the carriage. Jin was looking at the ground, lost in thought, and after a while...

Yuan: "Are you here?"

Jin: "What do you want?"

Yuan: "Don't you feel what happened?"

Jin: "What?"

Yuan: "Ah, this is bad. They received us; the Guardian and the Council Chairman sat with the ministers, and you and I went out to wander the city for a bit."

Jin went silent for a while as he looked at him, then remembered everything. He thought to himself: I didn't notice the passage of time. Three hours have passed. Great.

A little later, the two young men were wandering the city. Yuan, as usual, was silent and analyzing everything, while Jin was absent-minded, holding his sheathed sword in his left hand as was his custom.

Since they were in the capital, the city was architecturally stunning. Finally, Jin began to focus a little on his surroundings.

The architecture resembled Japan—the clothes, the culture, everything!

Jin: "This planet is a reflection of Earth, but larger."

Yuan: "What do you mean?"

Jin: "Murim resembles China, Asterion resembles the Middle Ages in Europe, this country resembles Japan, and the lands south of Asterion resemble the Middle East. Wow."

The youths entered one of the markets inside the city.

They passed by many shops, the first of which was food.

Jin stood eating at one of the stalls.

Yuan: "What is this?"

Jin: "It's grilled chicken skewers with some sauces. On Earth, they call it Yakitori."

Yuan: "And that?"

Jin: "Dumplings, but stuffed with meat. Arabs call it Kobeba, and the Japanese way is called Gyoza."

Yuan looked at him with astonishment for a moment: "I haven't seen you acting normally for a few days. Why did you come to life when you saw the food?"

Jin took another piece and spoke: "Why? Because food is the only thing that has nothing to do with the nonsense."

Yuan: "Seriously, what exactly did you learn during your time on Earth?"

Jin went quiet for a moment and looked at the food: "Hmm, I learned... Law, Politics, Human Sciences, some sciences related to Dynamics and Mechanics, Engineering—well, you can look at this sword I'm holding to believe that I learned this—I studied History a bit, and a lot of the cultures of different countries."

Yuan: "Stop, that's enough. You're annoying. Ah, right, what are 'Human Sciences'?"

Jin: "It's a comprehensive name that includes Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, and Communication Science."

Yuan looked closely for a moment, then spoke in a strange voice: "So... if you studied all of this... then why is your mental state like this?"

Jin went silent for a moment, heartbreak dominating his face: "I don't know... I really don't know."
