So, I'm bringing you an attempt of mine to write a Shadow Slave novel. I'll present a few considerations here.
Regarding the MC's powers, practically all of them will undergo some changes, especially the Sharingan. In the world of Shadow Slave, there are no jutsu to copy, and genjutsu will be heavily nerfed, but overall everything will be well adapted. The vast majority of the character's powers will come from the Uchiha clan. I'll take a bit from each member of the clan and incorporate it into the MC.
Regarding the world, I will add the Uchiha clan and some extra characters, as well as adapt the story so that they fit better.
Each chapter will have the equivalent of 2 to 3 chapters of the original work.
In this work, my focus is on many interactions involving the MC, so there will indeed be calmer, slower moments.
Also, English is not my native language. I'm "writing" as a way to improve it, so there will be some delays between chapters.
