Inv keeps apologizing for spinning me for who knows how long. It was nice seeing Inv so happy though.

The way it works is pretty weird. But it works.

Quickly floating towards me he gives me a hug which I of course return.

Pulling up my menu, I go to my stats.
Attributes-
Strength - Trash
Speed - Trash
Stamina - Trash
Endurance - Trash
'I need to figure out how to get stronger… but I don't see any way to upgrade these attributes…' I think to myself as I try to mess around with the menu. Seeing if I can upgrade them somehow.
But no matter what I do nothing changes. Just a screen telling me that I'm trash…

If I can't upgrade my attributes then the only real way I can grow stronger is with the trading post… I've been holding it off since I was more focused on Inv.
But if I want to protect Inv. I need to see how this trading post works and see what I can get from it.
Sadly I have negative karma but with the addition of being able to trade pearls for karma points I can use at the shop…

This was the one thing I've noticed that's different in the environment compared to the game I played. Pearls are somehow… more abundant here for some reason? I'm not sure why but this works out for me!
'I wish I had gathered more pearls though… I only have 11 stashed away… which will only give me 275 karma points…' I solemnly think to myself.
'Will 275 points even get me anything? If the trading post is still near the popcorn plant then bringing the pearls to it will be much easier than trying to climb the wall to that trading post… but will it even give me anything useful? 275 points doesn't seem like alot compared to my negative 18.6k karma…'

Fear bubbles inside me seeing Inv somehow dragged back here.

Suddenly out of nowhere in the dark void. A glowing white vortex appears.
"J-Joey?!" Inv suddenly exclaims as he's forcefully pulled towards the vortex. His body flailing around as he is quickly floating towards the vortex.
"INV!" I yell as I fly right after Inv. My heart racing in fear from what's happening.
Reaching Inv as fast as I can, I'm also caught from whatever is sucking Inv into the vortex. Grabbing Inv's paws I try to pull us out with all of my might from whatever is pulling us into this vortex. But despite using every bit of will power I can. I'm powerless towards whatever is happening.
"J-Joey!" Despite everything, Inv holds on to me tightly as we quickly approach the ominous vortex.
"Just hold on Inv!" I yell as were about to reach the vortex. No idea on what's about to happen.
"I-I wuv you Joey!!" Inv yells, holding me as tight as he can.
'Don't say that Inv! That makes it sound like we're about to die!'
