I reincarnated inside a random character in the novel I was reading.
Yes, I know this is an extremely familiar plot, and yes, this is exactly what happened to me.
And like any character in any novel of this type, I seriously tried not to interfere with the main plot of the story.
Strangely enough, that actually worked.
Yes, I completely avoided getting involved with the main characters.
Although I did do some extremely stupid things at the beginning…
I swear, only at the beginning, and not many things. Maybe just one thing. Or ten at most.
I tried using some magic, which ended up destroying the mansion I was living in.
You cannot blame me for that. I mean, I just wanted to try using magic. Nothing more.
Imagine being in my place. Would you not try the same thing?
Still, everything was going just fine.
If we exclude the time I completely blew up the mansion again using ancient magic.
And the time I beat up one of the gifted bastards in the family.
That extremely arrogant young talent.
You know the type. That conceited young master. Even though I reincarnated into a single body, that bastard was unbelievably annoying.
I tried to endure it, but in the end, I lost control.
Fortunately, he was not mentioned even once in the novel.
So hitting him should not have affected anything that happens later. Or at least, that is what I thought.
I did not interfere to save any character from death.
I did not try to obtain any of the protagonist's items.
I did not do anything special inside the academy.
And the story was progressing very smoothly.
The protagonist defeats the villains one by one, takes down demons, agents, terrorists, mages, and evil spirits.
By the Creator, why are all these lunatics attacking this miserable academy in particular?
But anyway, as I said before, everything was going fine.
Until another reincarnator appeared and started ruining everything in the second year of the academy.
The problem is that even the heroines started acting strangely around him.
And not only that, but it seems that one of the characters in the novel turned into a regressor who is trying to kill that reincarnator.
And it did not stop there. She is apparently trying to hunt down and kill every reincarnator she can find.
Unfortunately, it did not end at that either.
For some reason, there are more villains that I never read about in the story.
And one of them is that young master I punched.
And not only that, but it seems that aliens have appeared as well.
What in the name of the Creator of hell is going on here?
