Blood of Kamio – Chapter 33
Suddenly, Atomic shouted,
"Don't go into this abyss!"
Onoki asked,
"Why?"
Atomic replied,
"This is not the exit. This abyss leads to Dragon Land."
Shiki was shocked.
"Dragon Land?"
Atomic said,
"Dragon Land is a place filled with powerful and mysterious dragons. Even a thousand kamioras as powerful as Kamioma have never returned from there."
Everyone became terrified after hearing this.
Reimer asked nervously,
"Then where should we go now?"
Without answering, Atomic suddenly started running in another direction.
"Follow me!" Atomic shouted.
Everyone immediately followed him. Suddenly, several beasts attacked them, but within a second, Atomic sliced all of them into pieces.
Soon, another abyss appeared about twenty meters ahead of them.
Atomic said urgently,
"This is the exit. It will disappear in five seconds. Run!"
Everyone ran as fast as they could.
On the Light Kamio Village side,
Kamioma and Reo were standing in front of an abyss from which all teams would return.
Kamioma said with a smile,
"I wonder which team will come back first."
Reo replied,
"I think the sa—"
Before he could finish his sentence, Team 10 suddenly came out of the abyss and crashed into Reo, since they were running at full speed and Reo was standing right in front of it.
Kamioma burst out laughing and said,
"So, you are the first."
Everyone looked at each other in shock and shouted together,
"We are first?!"
Suddenly, another team appeared. It was Maro's team.
Maro said,
"I see. So Atomic and Team 10 are first, and we are second."
Kamioma said,
"Yes."
After one hour, all the teams had returned—except one.
Kamioma felt worried, thinking that they might be dead or went to Dragon Land. But suddenly, the last team also came out of the abyss.
Reo said in shock,
"Everyone has returned?!"
Kamioma smiled calmly.
"They are the kamioras of Light Kamio Village. Never underestimate them."
Then Kamioma spoke loudly,
"Now, I will explain the second stage of the exam."
Everyone became serious.
