Nora's POV
"You really didn't need to go through all this trouble." I shut the door as Jill steps inside. She and Reyna hauled over an entire dinner spread so I wouldn't have to worry about cooking tonight.
"We know we didn't have to." Reyna flashes that mischievous grin of hers. "We're just incredible friends like that."
"Excuse me, I've been camped out here all day," Ophelia pipes up with attitude, making us all burst into laughter. "I even stuck around while Nora took her little princess nap."
"You were snoring right beside me," I shoot back, laughing. "First time since our college cramming sessions that we've both crashed in the same bed."
"I loved cuddling with Mack back then. Having all three of your familiars squeezed in there with us was way more crowded than I expected though."
