Nora's POV
A tiny azure flame flickers in my palm as I study it against the ancient drawing spread before us. The fire pulses with otherworldly energy. "This is the source," I murmur, my voice barely above a whisper. "I'm drawing power directly from there."
James nods grimly. "Kevin suspected as much. He mentioned testing a theory before..." His voice trails off, unable to finish the sentence.
I close my fingers, extinguishing the supernatural fire. My thoughts race wildly. The Egyptian Underworld represents another realm of damnation entirely. If I can channel flames from that dimension, it means the barriers aren't sealed like those blocking access to traditional Hell. Which creates an opportunity. I could potentially banish something there.
The Four Horsemen, for instance.
"There's something else you need to see." James returns to the desk, exchanging the scroll for a crumpled piece of notebook paper. "It's written in Enochian script. Kevin's handwriting."
