Chapter 7 - Dinosaur Island

In the blink of an eye, three years had passed.

The Center

Somewhere unknown in the South Pacific, there existed an island that did not appear on any map.

Dinosaur Island.

As its name indicated, it was a territory where creatures that should have gone extinct walked freely. Colossal beasts, primitive roars, and a wild nature that recognized no authority whatsoever.

At the center of the island stood an island-style mansion, elegant and serene, as if the chaos surrounding it had no right to touch it.

In one of its rooms, Axel was sitting calmly in a chair, enjoying a cup of freshly brewed coffee.

If someone observed closely enough, they would notice that the table in front of him moved slightly from time to time, as if an invisible force were pressing it from below.

"This is life," Axel murmured, satisfied.

Just as he was about to take another sip, the door opened.

An imposing woman entered.

Tall and commanding, her figure combined strength and elegance with intimidating naturalness. Her fair skin contrasted with the dark armor of absolute design that covered her body: fitted, angular plates with clean, aggressive lines that seemed forged for war, not ceremony.

Her shoulders were broad, her posture straight, and every movement conveyed discipline and contained power.

Her long, straight black hair fell freely to her waist, framing a face that was both severe and beautiful. Her blue eyes were not gentle; they were sharp, cold—the eyes of someone who had survived countless battles and had nothing left to prove.

She wore no unnecessary adornments.

There was no heroic shine.

Only authority.

Wonder Woman (Themyscira).

Outside the room, two Terraforms guarded the entrance. They did not react to her presence.

"Is something wrong, Diana?" Axel asked, slightly surprised.

"I only came to inform you that the next shipment of dinosaurs will soon be sent to Mars," she replied.

Axel smiled with interest.

"Really? Excellent. By the way, haven't the White Martians caused trouble again?"

"No. Since Karen took control, they've stopped resisting. Instead, some Skartarians tried to rebel, but Laurel dealt with them without incident," Diana explained.

"That's good… although it might be better to send Laurel to Mars," Axel said thoughtfully. "You know how she is."

"I agree," Diana replied. "Her sense of justice could cause her problems in the future."

Axel sighed.

Good-hearted people were always the most troublesome. Laurel and Raven were proof of that.

"Send Laurel along with Karen," he ordered. "Have them prepare to help with construction."

"Understood."

Before leaving, Diana briefly glanced at the table that was trembling.

"And when you're finished with… your affairs," she added, "you should spend more time on Mars. It's your kingdom they're building."

Then she left.

Axel's Point of View

What a headache.

He knew he should be on Mars supervising construction, but there were still unresolved matters on Earth.

After all, he had no intention of staying here forever.

Mars would be the foundation of his future empire.

During these three years, three things happened that even I had not expected.

The first was discovering, during one of my travels, an island that housed dinosaurs and that was also connected—physically or mystically—to the realm of Skartaris.

After discussing it with the girls, we decided to turn it into our official base on Earth.

After thinking it through calmly, we made another decision.

Conquer Mars.

I discovered that, along with the army of the Terraformers, I had received another gift: a fixed portal that I could choose to open on Earth and decide which world to connect it to. I even felt like Rob's illegitimate son when I received that gift.

There, we faced resistance from the natives: the White Martians.

Humanoid shapeshifters, angular, hairless, with chalk-white skin and covered in bony ridges that looked like natural armor.

It was not a difficult war.

With an army of Terraforms and a team of powerful Kryptonians, the outcome was decided from the beginning.

They fought.

They fell.

And finally, they surrendered.

After the conquest, I used one of Rob's gifts: a green orb capable of transforming Mars, restoring its environment and turning it into a habitable world.

The process lasted a week.

We tried to replicate it with technology and magic.

We failed.

Without a doubt, it was a gift worthy of Rob.

While Mars was being claimed, we also occupied some territories of Skartaris. Not out of direct ambition, but for resources.

Skartaris was a means.

Mars, the objective.

The second surprise was finding my brother.

I'll be honest—since I arrived in this world, I focused on having fun, conquering, and indulging in all those typical reincarnator desires. I completely forgot to look for my brother.

It wasn't until the last year that I finally remembered he had reincarnated with me. That was when I started searching for him.

For months, I followed traces—without success.

Until I finally found him.

When I first saw him, I didn't recognize him. Now, he looked like Homelander.

The reason I managed to find him was because he had started making money by plagiarizing works from our past life.

When I found him, I was happy—not just because of brotherhood or the relief of finding family in this strange world, but because…

He was a DC fan.

I was a Marvel fan.

I needed him for the information and knowledge he had about this world.

The first thing he told me was that he hadn't appeared in this world out of nowhere like I had. He had reincarnated years earlier—in other words, he was born into a family and ended up orphaned and all that.

So after exchanging information and discovering another peculiarity, I found out my brother had a girlfriend. Well, it wasn't really surprising that he found one—he had several before reincarnating. He wasn't the type to die a virgin like me and, ahem, other incredible beings. Maybe that was why he wasn't the original target for reincarnation.

Anyway, as he explained, the reason was that this girl was apparently the future Batgirl or something like that, and her orientation didn't lean toward men. Winning her over had been his greatest achievement.

His accomplishments surprised me a little—not too much. Since we arrived in this world, characters weren't bound to follow something like a "plot." And the fact that my brother had been her childhood friend probably contributed a lot. In any case, I'd never even heard of that character, so I hadn't paid attention.

After reuniting with my brother, what followed was freeing the other summons and continuing to expand my domain on Mars and in Skartaris.

"There's a lot to do," Axel muttered as he leaned back in his chair.
