Chapter 6 - Mastery and Endurance: Strength Through Training

Gori's father came and took him home. He saw that Gori was severely injured and treated him. The next day, his father asked what had happened yesterday. Gori said, "I fought my friend Jiklo, but he defeated me, and I am sad."

His father said, "Do not be sad, my son. No matter your state, you are amazing in all situations." Gori encouraged himself and thought, "Yes, I tried, and the honor of trying is enough for me."

He went to school and saw his friend Lonia, who was worried. She asked, "Are you hurt?" He said, "Not much." She asked why he faced Jiklo. He said, "It's my life, and I am free in it." She replied, "Alright, do as you wish."

Gori went to the testing ground for Part 6 of the exam. He saw Jiklo in front of him. Jiklo said, "You were great in the previous fight, but you won't reach my strength because you are weak."

Gori, full of anger, said, "You are stupid, Jiklo, and your thinking is even more foolish. You are not my peak." Jiklo replied, "We'll see in the exam." The exam continued for hours and ended with Jiklo excelling.

The school administration announced a 10-day break before the final exam. Gori thought, "Great, I can master the Rock Skill and improve myself further." He went to a nearby mountain to train.

On the first day, he failed. The second day, he failed. The third day, he failed again. On the fourth day, he went home and told his father, "I cannot master this skill." His father said, "You are not focusing on your goal, only on increasing your strength."

Gori said, "Okay, Dad, I will focus and master it." His father said, "Train in a snowy area to learn faster." Gori went to a snowy region with glaciers, near Tlok city, far from Third Seal Village, and close to Fifth Seal Village.

He trained there for five days, mastering the first part of the Rock Skill. He returned home, ready for Part 7 of the exam. He told his father, "I mastered the first part." His father said, "Good, I will teach you the second part."

They went to a mountain area. His father told him to lift a medium-sized rock. He tried until sunset and night and eventually mastered it. His father said, "I will teach you the third part tomorrow." They went home and slept.

The next day, Gori went to school. Lonia greeted him: "I missed you, my friend." Gori said: "I missed you too, Lonia." Leka arrived and asked if they were ready. Gori said, "Even if I lose, it is enough that I tried."

The exam was exciting, full of fun, challenge, strength, willpower, and determination. In the end, Jiklo won, becoming the strongest in the school. Gori came second. Jiklo scored 93%, Gori 88%.

Gori didn't respond when Jiklo said, "I told you, you are weak." He left school quickly. His father asked if he wanted to continue learning. He replied, "I am tired today, Dad."

The next day, it snowed. People were trapped by seven Level 2 Holgas. Gori attacked without hesitation. He struck one with his first seal, but another Holga hit him from behind.

He was about to die, but Jiklo came at the last moment, healed him, and they both took combat positions. They destroyed the Holgas together. Gori fell afterward, exhausted, and Jiklo placed him in front of his house.

Gori woke up the next day and asked his father what happened. His father explained, and Gori asked if they would continue his training. His father replied, "Yes, let's continue."
