Chapter 161 - Chapter 163 Meat or Vegetables?

Sitwell was stunned. He never expected that Finney would come to recruit him, which surprised him and left him somewhat at a loss.

  "This... sir, why?"

Sitwell started sweating again. He felt that he needed to replenish his water after Finney left. The 'possessed by evil spirits' mask concealed his true expression.

"I think you're pretty good. I happen to need some subordinates, so I was just asking. It's okay if you don't want to."

Finney said, crossing his legs. If Sitwell didn't want to, although he wouldn't do anything to him now, his memory would be erased afterward.

Having been an undercover agent and subordinate for so many years, Sitwell knew that he could never completely trust his superiors.

Without hesitating for too long, Sitwell finally gritted his teeth and made a decision.

Anyway, it didn't matter who he followed. Alexander Pierce was old. He might as well follow the Divine Punishment Knight. Maybe he could even unify Hydra and fulfill his dream of ruling the world.

"What do I need to do, Boss!"

Having figured it out, Sitwell's attitude instantly changed. He stopped sweating, straightened his back considerably, and seemed ready to accept the mission.

However, Sitwell's question caught Finney off guard. He hadn't intended to take Sitwell as a subordinate before coming.

Finney thought for a moment and slowly said, "You maintain the status quo for now, then find someone for me. I need his information and location."

"Daniel Whitehall, he should know him, right?"

  "Yes!"

Sitwell was somewhat surprised. Of course, he knew who Whitehall was. Hydra, though vast, was divided into several factions, and he originally belonged to Alexander Pierce's faction.

Whitehall was the leader of another faction. Although they both belonged to Hydra, they didn't have many opportunities to communicate.

Therefore, after a slight hesitation, he still said, "I might need some time to investigate?"

Sitwell didn't dare to ask Finney what he wanted. As a competent subordinate, he knew some things could be asked, and some things couldn't.

Even if Finney was going to cause trouble for Whitehall, it wasn't a big deal; Hydra wasn't exactly united.

"It's alright, investigate thoroughly before you tell me!"

Finney waved his hand dismissively and said, "Give me your contact information, I'll get in touch with you when I have time."

Sitwell quickly gave him his phone number.

Finney noted it down, then suddenly asked, "Speaking of which, were you the one who relayed the message to Loki on the Sky Carrier?"

  "No!"

Sitwell immediately shook his head nervously, explaining, "It was Jim Baker. He controlled the information hub, which allowed him to relay messages secretly. However, he was secretly dealt with when Nick Fury returned."

Finney was somewhat surprised that it wasn't Sitwell, but he had only asked casually. The matter was in the past, and even if Sitwell had done it, he didn't intend to pursue it further.

Having achieved his purpose, Finney prepared to leave. He stood up, glanced at the still somewhat nervous Sitwell, and walked over to him, slowly saying, "You should know I have a white dragon, right?"

  "Yes!"

Sitwell nodded. Although Finney's information was highly classified within S.H.I.E.L.D., he was aware of it, and even without S.H.I.E.L.D. files, there were high-resolution images of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon in the media.

"Do you think it's carnivorous or herbivorous?"

Finney patted Sitwell's shoulder and continued, secretly thinking that, strictly speaking, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon should be an energy-consuming creature.

Sitwell paused, somewhat puzzled by Finney's question. Thinking of its enormous size, he hesitated before answering, "It's probably carnivorous, right?"

"So, if you don't want to be swallowed whole, remember to keep today's events a secret!"

After whispering something in his ear, Finney activated his 'Possessed' invisibility mode and vanished from Sitwell's sight in an instant.

Watching Finney disappear, Sitwell shuddered, a look of fear crossing his face as he recalled Finney's words.

Thinking of the pictures of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon he'd seen, its sharp fangs, he felt that even being shot was better than being eaten. He silently resolved that he absolutely could not reveal what had happened today.

However, Sitwell was unaware that Finney was merely bluffing. Even if he wanted to be eaten by the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Finney wouldn't allow it.

From its appearance until now, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon's rations had always been top-tier: Violet Chicken Wraps, Soul Gems, and even the worst was Tony's miniature Arc Reactor.

Sitwell was clearly not worthy of being the Blue-Eyes White Dragon's rations.

Having solved the intelligence problem and even gained a follower, Finney was in a good mood. Remembering it was the weekend and he'd promised Billy he'd show him what 'possessed' meant, he gave him a call.

  "You're coming to see me?"

Billy was surprised to receive Finney's call, but still gave him the address: "21st Street, Queens!"

Finney arrived in Queens according to Billy's address. Here, he inexplicably thought of his future Spider-Man; he should still be in middle school or elementary school!

Finney had no intention of looking for him. Even if he wanted to see the spider that bit him, it was too early, far too soon.

When he arrived, Finney discovered that Billy lived with his parents, which made him a little embarrassed. He should have called Billy out first.

Billy's mother was a slightly plump woman who looked very kind and was exceptionally welcoming to Finney's arrival. Anyone who didn't know better would probably think Finney was her son.

  Handsome guys are popular everywhere!

"My mom treats you better than I do,"

Billy muttered as he entered the room.

Hearing this, Finney rolled his eyes, glanced at his clothes, and said irritably, "Alright, enough talk, go find some warm clothes to wear!"

  "Warm clothes!?"

Billy was taken aback. In this sweltering season where even with the air conditioning on, Finney was telling him to wear warm clothes. He hesitated, asking, "Finney, are you alright?"

"You're the one who's in a bad mood! I only came to see you today because I was in a good mood. Don't blame me if you don't wear them!"

Hearing this, Billy hesitated, but after thinking for a moment, he found a not-so-thick coat in the closet. He didn't put it on, just held it in his hand.

  "Okay, your choice."

Seeing this, Finney didn't say anything more, smiling as he drew a circle around Billy's feet.

Sparks of energy appeared, and before Billy could even cry out in surprise, Finney's word 'Mute' caught in his throat. Then, the portal opened, and Billy fell down.

Finney, equipped with 'Haunted', followed closely behind, then restored Billy's 'Silence'.

  "Ah!"

Under the night sky, Billy screamed in terror, his mouth agape, clutching a coat and shivering in the snow.

"Alright, alright, stop howling. You'll cause an avalanche."

Finney walked up to Billy, looking at him and saying, "Put on your clothes, don't get cold."

The weather in the Himalayas is nothing like New York in May. Even though he had specifically opened the portal at the foot of the mountain, the air was still slightly chilly, which was why he had Billy wear warm clothes.

Seeing Finney wearing 'Haunted', Billy stopped screaming, stood up excitedly, ran to his side, and carefully touched 'Haunted' as if to confirm its authenticity, then said:

"You really are the Divine Punishment Knight!"
