Chapter 145 - Chapter 146 Before the Seventh Draw

Loki looked surprised, a bad premonition suddenly rising in his heart. Then he saw a card suddenly appear in Finney's hand.

"My turn, come forth, Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"

When the huge and ferocious Blue-Eyes White Dragon appeared, it wasn't Loki who was startled first, but Black Widow beside him.

In the Western imagination, dragons have always been symbols of ferocity, cruelty, and power. Dragons that capture princesses are evil dragons, dragons that want to destroy the world are evil dragons. In short, any bad but terrible thing is the conspiracy of evil dragons.

So when the Blue-Eyes White Dragon appeared, Natasha immediately took two steps back, her expression somewhat frightened.

Loki was much better off. Asgard rules the Nine Realms, and large creatures do exist in other worlds, but this was obviously the first time he had seen a Blue-Eyes White Dragon.

Seeing its sharp claws and the bone spikes on its wings that gleamed with a cold light, he had a bad feeling.

  "Roar!"

The Blue-Eyes White Dragon roared, and the small room shook.

Finney leaped lightly onto the Blue-Eyes White Dragon's back, glanced at the terrified Black Widow not far away, and urged, "Hurry up, we're leaving!"

Natasha looked at the massive Blue-Eyes White Dragon, then at Finney, and finally cautiously climbed up its back along its tail.

  "Roar!"

The Blue-Eyes White Dragon roared again, making Natasha tremble.

Finney ignored her, gently calming the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. While using 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique' to maintain the oxygen barrier around them, he commanded,

  "Destroy this place, fly away!"

Finney had no doubt that the Blue-Eyes White Dragon could destroy its surroundings. After reaching three stars, he had tested the Blue-Eyes White Dragon's attack and defense once.

In terms of defense, he was as reluctant to use his full strength, but in terms of attack, he could let the Blue-Eyes White Dragon run wild.

As a result, with just two claws, "Haunted by Evil" suffered some damage. Only then did he realize that the strongest part of the three-star Blue-Eyes White Dragon was not just the three "Explosive Gale Bullets", but the most primitive claws and fangs of this body.

As expected, the room, specially reinforced by Loki, was as flimsy as paper in front of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. With the aid of the 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique,' not a single spark was emitted during the destruction.

In the blink of an eye, it tore open the room and flew into the sky.

Seeing this, Loki's face darkened. He had prepared for so long, yet he hadn't expected that even Finney couldn't be trapped for ten minutes.

Bursting out of the base, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon roared again, its wings unfurling, its white scales shimmering in the moonlight. People in the city who had unexpectedly witnessed this exclaimed in surprise, frantically searching for their phones.

  "Is it really a dragon?"

In the sky, Natasha, now more accustomed to the sight, touched the white scales beneath her and asked Finney curiously.

  "Of course!"

Finney looked around, searching for Tony and the others lying in ambush. Since Loki had set a trap for him, there was no reason for him to fall for it on the other side.

Sure enough, once they left the room, the signal was restored, and Finney heard Nick Fury's angry and urgent voice: "Agent Romanoff, Helsing, how are you? Respond immediately!"

  "Roger!"

Natasha's expression changed. Forgetting her study of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, she immediately replied into her earpiece, "We were ambushed by Loki, and we just got out!"

"It's good that you're alright." Nick Fury's expression finally improved a little, and he quickly began to report the situation: "That Loki was a fake; he used a person in disguise. Thor was also stabbed by him."

"Also, he seized the Sky Helicarrier and took control of Banner!"

As Nick Fury spoke, Finney also spotted Tony and the others' location.

Under the cover of night, their battlefield was far more devastating than the base. The fighting was widespread, and the area was riddled with craters, as if it had been bombed.

Fortunately, none of them were ordinary people, and Hawkeye, the weakest among them, was sniping from a distance, so while they looked badly injured, they weren't seriously hurt.

Upon seeing the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Tony and Captain America didn't immediately spot Finney, assuming it was another attack sent by Loki. Their faces were serious, and

they were on high alert. It wasn't until Finney flew down from the Blue-Eyes White Dragon carrying Black Widow that they realized who it was.

"This is the little pet you were talking about!?"

Tony and Finney were most familiar with it, and having recently planned to see the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, he immediately guessed it.

  "As you can see!"

Finney shrugged, then looked at Thor, who was being supported by Captain America, and asked, "What happened to you?"

  "We were ambushed."

Captain America, looking disheveled and pale, explained to Finney, "Loki ambushed Thor while he was talking to him, and then launched missiles into this area."

Finney looked at Thor, whose waist was still bleeding, and asked speechlessly, "You knew he was treacherous and cunning, how could you still be ambushed?"

  "He's my brother after all!"

Thor looked heartbroken, as if he had been deeply hurt.

As they spoke, a Quinjet landed nearby, and Nick Fury disembarked. He looked at the group, then stared at the Blue-Eyes White Dragon for a long time before asking Finney,

"When did you get a dragon?"

  "Mind your own business!"

Finney rolled his eyes, then frowned at the group, who were now in a sorry state thanks to Loki, and asked Nick Fury, "How does Loki know about the plan?"

"There's a mole on the Sky Carrier, constantly passing information to him."

Nick Fury sighed. Although he had sensed something amiss within S.H.I.E.L.D. last year, he hadn't expected it to be so serious, leading to such a significant loss.

Finney was also somewhat helpless. He had become somewhat arrogant; his rapid increase in strength made him believe he could completely disregard Loki.

"So what do we do now?"

Black Widow asked from the side. Of everyone present, only she and Finney seemed to be in the best condition; even Nick Fury bore minor injuries.

"Chase after them! First, find a way to reclaim the Sky Helicarrier!"

Nick Fury surveyed everyone's condition, finally focusing his attention on the cleanest-looking Finney, and said, "When I left, I saw him controlling Banner. If the Hulk appears, are you confident you can handle him?"

"Why don't you give it a try?"

Finney replied calmly. In truth, aside from the S.H.I.E.L.D. members, perhaps everyone present could put up a fight against the Hulk.

Thor, though seemingly injured, should recover quickly given Asgard's powerful regenerative abilities. Captain America, with his idealistic 50/50 chance, might not

be able to defeat the Hulk, but he should be able to hold out for a while. As for Tony, the 'Hulkbuster Armor' he and Banner had been researching for so long, while its durability was uncertain, should be comparable to Captain America's.

However, while they could all fight the Hulk, subduing him was highly unlikely. Even Thor, facing a Hulk in a berserk state, would have to temporarily retreat.

Finney was in the same boat, but among the group, he was the most familiar with the Hulk, making his situation relatively easier.

But before that, he had something more important to do. After half a day of practice, the system's experience bar was finally full.

He could now draw his seventh skill!

This is a relatively new anime... yeah, quite famous~
