Chapter 82 - Chapter 82

  Chapter 82 Hulk Appears

Finney didn't speak, only raising a middle finger as his answer.

Although he didn't know what Tony could make, judging from his confident reply, it must be a good product.

On the other side, Skye and Pepper seemed to have hit it off immediately. Although one was a career woman and the other a computer geek, their personalities were surprisingly compatible.

Therefore, when Finney prepared to take Skye away, the two were quite reluctant to part.

Three days later, Finney received the equipment Tony had made: a pair of silver steel wristbands, almost like bracelets if they were thinner, even with patterns on them. It had to be said, Tony's inventions truly considered every aspect. As soon as they got

their hands on the items, Finney immediately took Skye to test them.

  "See that mountain over there?"

On an uninhabited mountain in the Himalayas, Finney pointed to a peak opposite and said to Skye.

  "Hmm, what's up?"

Although she knew Finney intended to test her abilities, she didn't know exactly how to do it.

"Use your ability on that mountain."

  "Huh?"

Skye was stunned. After three days of training, she could almost play a tune with water from a cup, but she didn't expect to advance directly to the Mountain-Shaking Technique.

  "Believe in yourself."

Finney looked at Skye encouragingly. In fact, Skye's growth rate had far exceeded his expectations. It probably wouldn't be long before she could become a valuable experience point.

Hearing Finney's words, Skye took a deep breath and activated the wrist guard she named 'Silver Light' on her arm.

The silver wrist guard unfolded little by little, wrapping around Skye's arm from her forearm, like wearing a pair of silver gloves, very beautiful.

Skye stretched out her palm, aimed at the mountain peak in front of her, closed her eyes, and focused all her attention on feeling its inherent vibration frequency with her ability. Suddenly, she opened her eyes.

  She felt it!

At the same time, Finney watched as the mountain before him trembled violently, collapsing and shattering trees—a scene of utter devastation.

  "What a powerful ability!"

Finney couldn't help but exclaim. Without the 'Explosion Magic,' he might not have been able to match Skye's destructive power in this situation.

However, after causing such a result, Skye felt weak. Fortunately, Finney quickly caught her and asked with concern, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

"It's nothing, just a little exhausted."

Skye shook her head excitedly, looking at the still-collapsed mountain before her, and asked Finney with some doubt, "Finney, do you think I really did this?"

  "Anyway, it wasn't me."

Finney looked at the incredulous Skye, rubbed her head, and said, "Alright, of course it was you. You saw this scene, so you must be careful when using your ability."

  "Yes!"

Skye nodded firmly. She understood how terrifying the casualties would be if such an attack were carried out in the city.

In the days that followed, Skye trained her ability even more diligently, and with the protection of the equipment Tony had made, Finney gradually felt more at ease.

After a period of calm and S.H.I.E.L.D.'s deliberate control, the buzz surrounding him has finally subsided somewhat, but he remains the hottest topic.

In the classroom, Finney was listening to an old professor lecture when suddenly, Billy nudged him.

  "Look at this,"

Billy whispered, secretly handing him a phone from under the desk. It seemed to be playing something.

Finney took the phone with a puzzled look, and his pupils instantly contracted after glancing at the screen. On it was a fat, green-skinned man roaring loudly.

  "Hulk!"

Finney recognized him immediately. He'd been so focused on training Skye's abilities these past few days that he'd almost forgotten about it.

"It seems to be a monster that appeared at that university a few blocks away," Billy explained, "I wonder if the Divine Punishment Knight will show up to help."

Looking at his phone, Finney frowned, also considering whether to get involved.

If they arrived in time, they might be able to see the super soldier injected with the serum by General Ross and thus prevent the birth of the Abomination.

  "Who filmed this video?"

Finney asked Billy in a low voice, perhaps the events in the video were already over.

"A member of the club, he went over there to visit a friend, found this, and risked his life to secretly film it," Billy explained.

  "Is it happening right now?"

  Finney quickly confirmed again.

"Yeah, look, there's a new one."

Billy took the phone and opened another video, which showed many military vehicles and soldiers driving away Billy's friend.

Seeing this, Finney made a decision. Just then, the class ended, and he immediately said to Billy, "I'm not feeling well. Please excuse me from the next class."

  "You're not feeling well again?"

Billy was taken aback, looking at Finney suspiciously. "You're not planning to go to the scene, are you?"

"Why would I go to the scene?!"

Finney calmly glanced at Billy and continued his bluff. "Besides, didn't you see your friends were expelled from the army? Even if I went, how would I get in?" "

  Then where are you going?"

But Billy clearly still didn't believe Finney's excuse about being unwell.

  "Billy, what's one plus one?"

  "Two. Why?"

  "You know too much!"

Finney patted Billy's shoulder, then left him looking bewildered and quietly left the classroom.

Arriving at the school restroom, Finney quickly equipped 'Possessed by Evil Spirit,' then opened a portal and arrived at the university Billy had seen in his video.

However, as soon as Finney stepped out of the portal, he wasn't greeted with cheers, but rather a hail of golden bullets. Fortunately, his 'Demon Possession' defense was high enough that he wasn't seriously injured.

Finney also saw the situation: the once beautiful campus was now a ruin, littered with the marks of war, and surrounded by wrecked military vehicles.

Hulk, shielding his face with his arm and roaring, stood in the center, surrounded by soldiers firing at him. Finney had appeared nearby and was thus accidentally hit by the bullets.

Finney's arrival also attracted the attention of the army.

  "General, it's 'Silver Knight'!"

the soldiers reported to Ross, asking what to do.

"Quickly, capture him too, dead or alive!"

Seeing Finney, Ross ordered without hesitation, without considering the consequences. If he had any self-awareness, he wouldn't have tried to capture Hulk indefinitely.

The soldiers hesitated for a moment, but obeyed orders and opened fire on Finney, much to his surprise.

When Finney ascended into the air using his levitation technique, he saw that some of the soldiers were still firing at him. He seemed to understand something, and his expression beneath his visor turned grim.

If Nick Fury's reckless actions were aimed at protecting the world, then Ross's recklessness was purely for himself.

Now, Ross had even brought this upon himself. He wasn't Banner, nor was he the Hulk. At this moment, Finney decided to ignore Abomination for now; he wanted to teach Ross who he couldn't mess with. (

As for my opinion, the Hulk is the Hulk, and Banner is Banner. In Avengers: Endgame, Banner should have defeated the Hulk.)
