Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 You really don't think there aren't aliens on Earth, do you?

In the end, Finney Hellseg didn't choose to leave. He simply silently deactivated his invisibility mode. Anyway, with the armor concealing him, Tony wouldn't recognize him.

The moment Tony saw Finney, he was clearly startled. However, perhaps the presence of a coded door and the Iron Man armor arm gave him confidence, and he immediately asked,

"Could you reveal your identity, you trespassing... unknown creature!? Are you an alien? Can you speak? Did you steal this armor from some museum?"

As he asked, Tony began to show an expression of wanting to investigate.

"Hello, nice to meet you, Mr. Tony Stark!"

Finney recalled the scene when he first met the Ancient One, and adopted a composed attitude. Unfortunately, the visor covered his face, limiting his facial expressions and preventing him from fully displaying his charisma.

"Hmm... It can talk and knows my name, so was this premeditated?" Tony looked thoughtful, then quietly moved closer to the computer while continuing to ask,

"How did you do that, that fire circle? Is it your technology?"

"Yes, it's a unique skill of ours. Many people know it; it's very convenient to go anywhere." Finney teased Tony with interest.

Teleportation portals seemed to be unique to Earth. With so many people in Kamar-Taj, many could indeed use them, and opening a portal wasn't difficult; it was certainly convenient.

"So, who exactly are you? Why are you looking for me?" Tony frowned. If it weren't for Jarvis's recording, he would have already activated the villa's counterattack system.

This was the home of a former arms dealer; how could it be undefended?

  "Hmm..."

Finney quickly thought for a moment and blurted out a fabricated story, "I'm a space observer. I discovered you're building a special weapon that might lead me to reassess Earth's reputation, so I came to find out."

Tony was momentarily stunned, seemingly taken aback. After a brief silence, he asked, "Are you really an alien?"

Finney didn't admit it, but misled him in another way: "Look at what you're saying, you don't actually believe there aren't aliens on Earth, do you?"

"Like the frost giants of Jotunheim, the Aesir of Asgard, the Kree of the Kree Empire, the Skrulls, and so on—they've all been to Earth."

Although he couldn't see Finney's face, Tony knew from the surprised yet slightly mocking tone that he was being looked down upon. He, who was usually quick to criticize, rarely experienced this feeling.

As a universally recognized genius, Tony was intelligent; he certainly wouldn't believe Finney so easily.

"So, what's the result of your observation?"

Tony activated the energy cannon on his wrist armor while secretly manipulating the computer with his other hand, instructing Jarvis to create a file, scan and analyze Finney, and prepare to activate the counterattack system.

Although Finney's strange technology might not be enough to control him, as his father had said, it was best to act first and think later.

"Not bad, but you're pretty impressive,"

Finney praised. Although Tony Stark had many flaws, no one could deny his talent; after all, no one in the entire universe had ever built a time machine.

"I think so too!" Tony replied without a hint of modesty, then surprisingly opened the keypad door and invited, "Would you like to come in, have a coffee?"

Finney looked at Tony with some surprise, hesitated for a moment, and then walked into Tony's studio. On the table was a projection that appeared to be the overall structural diagram of the Mark II.

Noticing Finney's gaze, Tony immediately waved his hand, turning off the projector, and then decisively shouted,

"Jarvis, seal off all rooms, lock onto the target, do not attack for now."

At the same time, he aimed the energy cannon on his arm at Finney. After the room was closed and various weapons emerged from the corners, he looked at the unmoved Finney and said, "This... um... gentleman who claims to be an alien..."

"If you don't mind, could you take off that armor that looks like it was stolen from a museum, and then sit down and talk properly?"

"Aren't you afraid of angering me and bringing disaster to the entire Earth?"

Finney asked curiously, looking at Tony's series of actions.      This was Tony's workshop, after all, so he couldn't install any large weapons; they were all small, limited-powered ones.

Enough to deal with ordinary people, but against Finney, the most effective weapon would be the energy cannon connected to the Arc Reactor on his arm.

"Who knows? Maybe this alien is actually a human in disguise," Tony scoffed, then aimed at Finney while swiping a screen and saying, "I don't know how you got into my room yet, but kid, do you think you can just loiter around my house without being noticed?"

  "Damn it!"

Finney cursed as he watched the video. It showed him looking around when he first arrived at Tony's house, completely unaware of the nearby cameras.

"How many cameras did you install around here?" Finney asked angrily. He didn't deny it wasn't him; that was pointless. Knowing Tony's personality, he'd investigate if he suspected anything, and it would be exposed sooner or later. If something unexpected happened during that time, it would be even more troublesome.

"Who knows? Anyway, I'm rich, and I'm planning to launch a few more satellites specifically to monitor my house."

Tony shrugged, his ostentatious display of wealth truly infuriating.

  "OK, you win."

Finney dispelled the 'Demon Possession.' Since his identity was already exposed, there was no need to hide any longer. Besides, Tony hadn't fully created his suit yet, so fighting was pointless.

To be honest, he was quite regretful now. If he had known the outcome would be like this, he would never have come.

Tony was somewhat surprised by Finney's decisiveness. On one hand, he carefully confirmed Finney's identity, and on the other hand, he asked again, "Hmm... your armor... is the latest nanotechnology!?"

"Did you really acquire a new type of alien technology?"

The way Finney appeared and dispelled the Demon Possession was so unexpected that even Tony, known as the modern-day Leonardo da Vinci, couldn't figure it out for a moment.

"Didn't we agree to treat you to coffee? Are you planning to keep treating guests like this?"

Finney said irritably, still resentful about the surveillance. Indeed, technology is the enemy of magic.

Looking at Finney's youthful face and his clean, tidy appearance, which suggested he wasn't carrying any weapons, Tony hesitated for a moment, then lowered his arm, no longer pointing the energy cannon at Finney.

"Alright, Mr. Hellseg, now tell me why you trespassed, otherwise, I don't mind my legal team taking your parents to court."

"Don't threaten me, the consequences are serious." Finney frowned immediately. He didn't want anyone using his family to threaten him; that was his Achilles' heel.

But who was Tony? Marvel's number one arrogant guy. Even if he didn't have those thoughts, he still had to say something.

"Now you should consider the consequences for yourself."

"You really think I can't do anything!?" Looking at the arrogant Tony, Finney exhaled lightly, focused his mind, and commanded, "Jarvis, you will temporarily follow my instructions, ensuring that all video and image records about me are deleted and confirmed to be unrecoverable."

"Yes, sir, it's my pleasure to serve you." (
