They experienced great struggles as they restarted agriculture. They distributed cheap and sustainable rations until humanity was back on their feet
Meanwhile, The unnamed god created 4 divine beings to hold jurisdiction over the 4 domains of reality. Under each god, would be a plethora of deities each responsible for a certain concept. Like, in greek mythology, the God of War, Ares. These deities were,
Physoren- The deity who reigns over anything physical such as matter itself. Often depicted in a male form.
Abstrali- The deity who rules over all abstract existences like emotions and feelings and concepts. Often depicted in a female form.
Enerkon- The deity responsible for rule over the buffer zone of Physoren and Abstrali's rule like energy, mana, wavelengths. Doesn't have a specific gender depicted form and often androgynous.
And last but not least, Destonaro, the deity who writes fate. Fate is in his control but he doesn't tamper with it until absolutely necessary. He can rebuild the past and change it to affect the future. He knows all of what will come, yet doesn't speak about it.
Fate, is in the form of a skyscraper. The god keeps on building it in his realm, The Domain Of Destiny, brick by brick, unaffected by time.
Now with the unnamed god's hands free, he could dedicate his efforts to the cycle of chaos that he would go on to create.
Humanity has started thriving once again and the calamity of storms and cyclones is history for the current generation.
Currently, they would be in the era when the black plague has just risen, another ploy by the unnamed god to create mayhem while he devises his future plans.
The unnamed god then brought into existence a heavenly council responsible for The Cycle Of Chaos, the process by which the unnamed god would bring about this change.
His plan was clear: enormous superdeep boreholes would appear randomly throughout the earth and if not cleared by humans, they would spew out several monsters. They would often spawn below large man-made creations and devour them to hinder humanity's progress.
The creatures would not be affected by normal man-made weaponry so as to create a challenge for the humans. The unnamed god was cruel but not cruel enough to leave mankind defenseless.
That is why he created the, 'God's Desires' as we call it. This concept is the backbone of humanity's survival. It allows humans to reach previously incomprehensible levels of power in order to battle against The Cycle Of Chaos.
Humans at the age of 18 receive a quest in the form of a dream. They don't know what it is but must complete it in 1 year time. This is completely based on luck as there is no way of knowing what your quest is. Although you can succeed by trying out several tasks, skills throughout the year in hopes of accidentally completing your quest.
The heavenly governing council ensures that the desires are difficult to a degree that wouldn't reduce the successes drastically and keep an adequate amount of transcendents to fend off the monsters.
The unnamed god's plans had finally been plotted and were prepared for execution.
