As Laria shot a beam from her blaster that was heading towards Rexus, a slashes of energy appeared from nowhere and sliced through her attack with ease. Laria was in shock "What? Someone cut through my attack? But who?", Mio and Regina were also stunned "Huh? A slash?", Regina questioned. From the smoke that was caused from the slash, a feminine silhouette was seen, her hair flowing. Mio focused on the object before her eyes widened "Ah? No way! It can't be.". The smoke cleared, Haven was seen holding a sword while Rexus was layed on her back "You fucking fool! Do you have any idea how much trouble you were in just now?", Rexus groaned while half unconscious "Don't yell at me.... damn it!", he said weakly like his life was being drained out of him. Laria clicked her tongue "Tch!", she started shooting out more beams of energy from her blaster and her mechanical circles at Haven and Rexus at dangerous levels of power and speeds. Haven locked eyes with Laria and the attacks falling at incredible levels of speeds. Haven's perception of time paused for a moment, the world around her was grey in colour. Energy gathered on her fingers, almost like flames "Special Technique: Flame Shower.", she waved her fingers around, her energy spread all over the air into a barrier and blocked Laria's beams, the barrier almost looked like flames. Laria was in shock, her eyes narrowed "What just happened? Just now, she just blocked my beams.". Haven opened a portal and explained "Sorry, right now I don't have the luxury to stay around and chat. I'll be heading out now, mission complete!", she started to walk into the portal. Mio got up and ran forward "Hey, wait!", only for her to fall back down "YOU! YOU'RE THE ONE WE FOUGHT AT THE CITY OF PILLARS! ITS YOU!", Laria was a bit stunned on hearing that piece of information "She is?!", she questioned herself. Haven looked at Mio with a straight and almost annoyed look as she sank into her portal. Laria flew down, trying to reach Haven before vanishing into the portal "HEY, DIDN'T YOU HEAR THE GIRL? SHE SAID GET BACK HERE!", but it was too late, Haven sunk into the portal. The portal instantly dissappeared into nothing before Laria could reach it. Laria landed on the stadium grounds "Fuck! She got away!", she exclaimed. She looked around and saw all the girls layed on the floor, all of them injured and almost dead. She turned around and saw Kito and Volt unconscious, White was the only boy among the three who was still conscious, but he was faced down on his knees while holding his stomach. Laria turned to the other side of the stadium to see Yuji who's eyes looked dark and broken, his face saddened, she also noticed Dan's head as well. She thought to herself "So his body was used as a corpse doll. What a shame, guess that sums it up.", she muttered. Laria looked around and saw Shindell, her headless body laying dead while her head was a few feet away from her body. Laria didn't say anything at all, she just turned her head away and sighed "Ah!", the sun was slowly coming up already. Laria looked up into the sky and said "What a horrible way to start a day!", she scratched her head. Meanwhile at the battlefield, Reggie was still floating up in the air while staring down at Fragmell who had a smirk on his face "So, are you going to wipe the entire country out? Or you're going to have to retrieve your comrades at the battlefield. My Drive Knights can barely fight anymore, same with your surviving solidiers. At this rate, what's left of your solidiers would be scraps of human flesh. And as for your top tiers that are at different cities of the country, it's just a matter of time before reinforcements come in and execute them.", Reggie closed his eyes, turned around and zoomed off. As he did so, he contacted his lab "Hey, is anyone there? Laria.", Reiko responded "Laria isn't here right now, it's just me.", Reggie replied "Doesn't matter, the war's over. Call in reinforcements to come pick up our solidiers. Just 10 planes would be fine.", Reiko replied "On it.", she pressed a button and said "Retrieval squad, head out to the Knight Country and pick up whatever solidiers from Kagahara you find.". As Reggie flew accross the sky, he noticed the sun was rising "The war only took two hours. In that two hours, we lost a lot of solidiers.", he picked up a communicator from his pocket and spoke into it "Andre, Lerion, Suzuha, Ranpo and Kojin. I'm coming to pick you all up. And also, Ralfold's dead.". Reggie created 5 clones of himself as he flew "Go pick up all of them, I'm heading for Andre.", his clones replied "Sure!", before they zoomed off. Lerion was laying unconscious on the floor, his arms spread apart as he faced the slow early morning sky. Andre was on his knees with a tired smile on his face, his body still impaled by the lightning sword that had lost its power. Andre looked to his right and saw the sun rising, he chuckled "Well would you look at that. It's morning.". Suzuha was on her knees with Ralfold's head resting on her lap, she was crying while looking at her friend's body that was slowly turning cold "Ralfold.....!", she hugged him as the sun rose. Ranpo and Kojin were both injured but standing, they didn't have any energy left. Ukina was also standing right infront of them, she too was injured, she turned around "Good bye", and slowly started to dissappeare into the wastelands. The morning sun had almost risen up, it's golden early morning light shining on both men. The battleships from Kagahara were slowly decending to the ground, the soliders operating it began to come down and pick up their allies. Some of Kagahara's solidiers were still alive, some tired, some injured, some traumatised and some dead. Monoma was crying over Kairo's dead body "Kairo, wake up! Please! You can't die like this!". Roy and Fred were both layed out on the floor with pieces of Drive Knights around them, Zeraph was sitted on the floor completely beat "I sense Monoma's in pain. Something's probably happened to Kairo.", he looked back at the soldiers who he was fighting along side with "They've lost a lot of blood from their heads and other parts of their bodies. They're still alive, but they'll die if help doesn't arrive on time.". Nero was crying while holding the scraps of flesh that was left of Fura, her twin sister. Sylypha was still struggling to move from the spot she was laying on due to her digestive system being destroyed into nothing but red paste and lumps of meat, her fingers slowly moving. Kaylen was dead on the floor, a hole in her head, her brain fried and her stomach cut open. Tahereno and Fawn were only able to stand in a spot and look at the battlefield with fear and terror. Blacker was sitted on the floor, tired and injured along with his team mates who were also layed on the floor. Celina watched "We made it through! Void, Velderon, we actually made it.". Velderon was on the floor trying to catch his breath, while Void chuckled, his tone extremely tired and drained "Hah, we really did make it.". The reinforcements came in with their planes, the morning sun had risen. Reggie looked at the soliders of Kagahara as he flew above "Guess it's done.". At Kagahara, medics came to pick up the boys and girls that were layed almost dead in the stadium. One medic exclaimed as his group picked up Kazuma "Be careful with the boy. His stomach has been ruptured.". Kazuma looked at the early morning sky, his mouth and nose bleeding "It's beautiful.", he whispered before he went unconscious.
