After briefly reading the task content, Hayato closed it. The notification vanished from his vision.

Nothing much to say. Even without this task, he would've done it anyway. This was always the plan.

In Hayato's team room, King Halo and Seiun Sky had been waiting for quite a while. King Halo sat on the edge of the desk, swinging her legs impatiently.

When they saw Silence Suzuka following behind Hayato through the doorway, both their expressions shifted to shock.

Hayato gestured toward Suzuka. "Let me introduce you. This is Silence Suzuka. She's now a new member of our team, too."

"Please take care of me." Silence Suzuka bowed slightly, her voice soft as she greeted them both.

"No way? You actually managed to snatch her?" Seiun Sky's eyes widened with unbelievable shock. She had to admire Hayato's ability.

Hayato said he could snatch her from Rigil Team, and he actually did. How many days had it even been? Like, three days?

"Trainer, how did you do it?"

King Halo looked just as confused, her ears perking forward. "She, she was on Team Rigil, wasn't she?"

"The contract with Rigil has been terminated." Hayato smiled, leaning against the doorframe. "She's on our team now."

"By the way, we have three members now. Do we have a team name?" Seiun Sky asked, tilting her head.

After all this time, she still didn't know what team Hayato was even on.

King Halo raised her head confidently. "Do you even need to ask? We're a first-rate team, so of course we need a first-rate team name. Let's call it Team King."

Hayato and Seiun Sky both simultaneously shrank their necks, shoulders hunching.

"What? Is it too bad?" King Halo looked displeased at their reactions, her tail swishing once in annoyance. "Then how about Our Triple Crown Dream? Yeah, that name's not bad either."

"Meh." Hayato unconsciously rolled his eyes when he heard King Halo say that name.

Hayato had already looked into the team name issue. Tracen used constellations for naming. Team names were fixed and assigned.

And couldn't be changed once established.

Tojo Hana was actually the Centaurus constellation Rigil.

Okino Trainer was the Virgo constellation Spica.

Kiryuin Aoi was the Sirius constellation. That's right, Sirius. Currently, Team Sirius only has Happy Meek as a member, though that would probably change.

Happy Meek wasn't originally a Central horse girl. In-game backstory, she'd known Kiryuin Aoi since childhood, their families were connected somehow.

That's also why Hayato had no chance of snatching Happy Meek.

All horse girls were protagonists in this world. But Happy Meek was just a supporting character among supporting characters, yet somehow had a stronger presence than the actual protagonists.

Twin Turbo's was in Canopus... The current Twin Turbo, Nice Nature, and other horse girls hadn't enrolled yet.

Eighty-eight constellations total, each one a potential team.

Originally, Oguri Cap should've been in Sirius after retiring, but unexpectedly ended up here, with Hayato still not entirely sure how that happened.

Hayato walked to the desk, picked up a pen, and wrote a few English letters on a notepad. The ink flowed smoothly.

Hayato team's name was from the Aquila constellation, its Altair.

"Our team name is Altair." He showed the letters to all of them, holding up the notepad.

Everyone nodded. No objections came up.

Even if they had objections, it wouldn't matter. Team names couldn't be changed. At most, you could switch to an unused constellation name from the eighty-eight, but that required complicated paperwork.

The inheritance method was also complex, requiring consent from that constellation's previous trainer or horse girl. Too much hassle.

"Suzuka, go eat first. Rest this morning, we'll train at noon." Hayato's tone softened as he looked at her.

"But the trainer hasn't eaten yet either." Silence Suzuka's ears drooped slightly with concern.

"I'll go eat soon." He met her eyes. "You've been running all night. You should rest."

Silence Suzuka obediently nodded and left, her footsteps quiet in the hallway.

Seiun Sky and King Halo, watching the exchange, both started looking at them strangely. Their expressions shifted to something between suspicious and amused.

Did they spend the entire night alone together? King Halo's mind raced.

Is that how he recruited her? Sasuga Trainer-san Seiun Sky thought.

Hayato turned back to see two very strange expressions. One was smiling mysteriously as she knew what happen, the other seemed angry, her eyes narrowed dangerously.

Hayato glanced at the departing Suzuka, then turned back and shrugged. "Don't misunderstand. I was just teaching her training."

"Yea-yea, you're just TEACHING her training! I believe it!" Seiun Sky covered her mouth, laughter spilling through her fingers.

"Hmph, who cares about you two?" King Halo pursed her lips, putting on an expression of complete indifference. "Hurry up and start training."

Hayato took out that training schedule, then said, "King, you follow the schedule for training. No special tasks today. I need to accompany Seiun Sky out for a bit."

King Halo froze mid-breath. She didn't expect to be training alone today. She'd thought Hayato would supervise her training, at least for the first few days.

"Does this count as slacking off?" Her voice came out flat.

"Yeah, that's exactly what it is." Hayato found two fishing rods and a bucket from a corner of the room, metal clanking softly. "Seiun Sky, come with me."

That golden fishing rod polished to a smooth shine was obviously Seiun Sky's own rod. The thing practically gleamed.

Seiun Sky couldn't help feeling dumbfounded, her mouth opening slightly. She'd finally wanted to train seriously, and this trainer was actually making her go fishing. What kind of training was that?

King Halo also felt something was wrong. "Wait, didn't you also not rest all night?"

Hayato had already started toward the door. In response, Seiun Sky could only follow, casting an apologetic glance back at King Halo.

King Halo stomped her foot, the sound sharp against the floor, but didn't chase after them. She held the schedule and started studying it, her brow furrowing.

Just the second day after signing the contract, the trainer who should be supervising her training had run off. What kind of development was this? This guy was supposed to guide her racing career, and he was ditching her for fishing?

Buzz buzz buzz!

Her phone vibrated in her pocket. She pulled it out and saw Hayato's name on the screen, so she answered.

"Sorry about this, King. I really have something very important to do, so today's training can only rely on your hard work." His voice came through tinny but sincere. "At noon, also look after Suzuka a bit... I want to save the fish from drowning! I am a good person after all!"

"Good person? Hah." King Halo's tone dripped with sarcasm.
