Chapter 52 - Chapter 52

  "Second Grade Spirit Forging!"

Feng Wuyu stared at the spirit metal before him, his eyes filled with astonishment. He truly hadn't expected that in just two months, Lin Xiuran had progressed from barely being able to forge spirit metal to the second grade.

Lin Xiuran stretched easily; for him, it was actually quite simple. Having reached level forty, his Phoenix True Fire could now be used more flexibly, increasing its application in forging and naturally resulting in greater purification. Therefore, although he hadn't practiced for the past two months, his forging skills had still improved. Taking advantage of Feng Wuyu

admiring his work, Lin Xiuran secretly slipped away. He had no choice; if he didn't leave, who knew what else the other party would ask him to forge? After Lin

Xiuran left, Feng Wuyu reluctantly put down the rare metal, glancing at the door with a smile, and muttered, "That brat."

Although his words were harsh, the satisfaction in his eyes was undeniable.

He had started learning forging too late; although he was a late bloomer, he had still reached the Saint Craftsman level. However, this still caused him to miss many opportunities, largely because it prevented him from breaking through to the Divine Craftsman level.

But he saw hope in Lin Xiuran, hope of breaking through to the Divine Craftsman level. Or rather, it wasn't just hope; in his eyes, as long as he didn't die young, he would definitely become a Divine Craftsman—it was just a matter of time.

A thirteen-year-old Level 5 Blacksmith! Even Zhenhua University back then didn't have this ability.

Such talent would be highly sought after even by Shrek Academy. This was undoubtedly someone who could become a Divine Craftsman in the future!

Currently, there is only one Divine Craftsman on the entire continent. This is why, even within Shrek Academy, most top-tier Battle Armor Masters are only three-word masters—because without a Divine Craftsman, there are no four-word Battle Armors.

If Shrek Academy could have its own master craftsman, all three-word battle armor masters would be promoted to four-word...

However, thinking of this, Feng Wuyu's expression was somewhat pained: "How come that old bastard Zhenhua got there first..."

After leaving Feng Wuyu, Lin Xiuran quickly arrived at Zhuoshi's place. Since they were both from the inner courtyard, they were naturally very close.

However, Feng Wuyu's forging room wasn't on Seagod Island, but Zhuoshi's residence was.

Just as he stepped onto Seagod Island, before he could even stand firmly, he saw Zhuoshi seemingly waiting in front of him.

"Old Master Zhuo." Lin Xiuran stepped forward, about to say something, when he was hit hard on the head.

Although it hurt a bit, as a Soul Master, it had no effect whatsoever; it was just symbolic.

However, Lin Xiuran still feigned pain and asked in confusion, "Why did you hit me?"

Zhuoshi snorted coldly, "You just got back and went straight to Feng Wuyu's place, you really don't take me seriously."

Lin Xiuran helplessly spread his hands, "I can't help it, Elder Feng insisted on dragging me to the forging workshop."

"Hmph!" Zhuoshi said gruffly, "Just wait and see, next time I'll definitely teach him a lesson."

"Alright, it's good that you're back safe and sound, you can go now, someone's looking for you. I have something to do at the outer courtyard." Zhuoshi patted his shoulder.

But just as he was about to leave, he suddenly remembered, "Oh right, Changkong is here with his students, go see them when you have time."

After saying that, he turned into a beam of light and disappeared.

Zhuoshi was a very impulsive person, and Lin Xiuran didn't understand what he was going to do, but when he heard that Wu Changkong was here, he suddenly remembered.

"Shrek Academy is recruiting students this semester."

Lin Xiuran had been so focused on cultivation these days that he had forgotten that this semester was Shrek Academy's recruitment semester.

That meant that Teacher Wu and Tang Wulin and the others had still been admitted to Shrek Academy.

However, he returned rather late; more than a month had passed, and he was probably already familiar with Shrek Academy.

There was no rush to see it.

Lin Xiuran walked straight towards Zhuoshi's room on Seagod Island.

The vegetation on Seagod Island was incredibly lush, giving the impression of entering a primeval forest. After crossing two small hills and walking a short distance, he arrived at a two-story wooden house.

The house wasn't large and looked quite simple, but a young girl stood outside it, and her presence made the otherwise ordinary scenery exceptionally beautiful.

Perhaps it was the girl's beauty that elevated the entire treehouse.

Silver hair, purple pupils, and a serene smile on her exquisite face. Standing there, a gentle breeze blowing, she exuded unparalleled elegance.

Her face bore an eight-tenths resemblance to Gu Yuena in Lin Xiuran's spiritual sea, only Gu Yuena was more aloof and mature, while this girl was more delicate and beautiful.

"Na'er, how did you know I was back?"

Hearing Lin Xiuran's voice, Na'er turned around, her smile widening. She said sweetly, "I just happened to be passing by when I saw Elder Zhuo going out, and then I knew you were back."

As she said this, her eyes unconsciously darted away.

Lin Xiuran, whose personality was rather aloof, couldn't help but smile. Na'er wouldn't lie; she must have been coming here every day since school started, otherwise, it wouldn't have been such a coincidence.

Sometimes, too much of a coincidence isn't a coincidence anymore.

He didn't want to have anything to do with Gu Yue or Na'er, after all, their connection with Tang San was too special.

If Gu Yue hadn't needed to replenish her energy, he wouldn't have gotten close to Na'er. Having left Gu Yue, he could only get close to Na'er.

But fortunately, Na'er was stronger than Gu Yue. It was much better to be with the sweet, lovely, and caring Na'er than to stay with the cold, unpredictable, ticking time bomb-like Gu Yue.

He didn't know why, but Na'er felt close to him from the first time they met. Lin Xiuran attributed it to Gu Yuena within him.

But the real reason, he didn't know; perhaps only Na'er herself knew.

Over the years, no matter how cold Lin Xiuran's personality had become, he had been moved by Na'er's warmth; she was truly a good person.

If one ignored her identity as half the Silver Dragon King, Lin Xiuran would have been very willing to open his heart to her, but now it seemed impossible.

He had suffered enough emotional hurt and truly didn't want to fall in love again, no matter how warm it might be.

Therefore, his personality had become cold over the years, but he wasn't like this in his previous life.

It was nearing evening, and the scenery of Seagod Island was beautiful. The afterglow of the setting sun added a touch of warmth.

Lin Xiuran and Na'er strolled along the edge of Seagod Island, quietly watching the lake ripple, emptying their minds, and chatting together.

This was one of the few moments that allowed Lin Xiuran to relax amidst his heavy cultivation.

My proposed character design for Na'er is quite good. After all, in my own understanding, Na'er is much better than Gu Yueyi or Gu Yuena in the original work. However, this is just my personal opinion, and I don't object to other people having different ideas.
