PRIMARY TESTIMONY

Retrieved from: Personal File – Unknown Location

Date: [ETERNITY]

Status: At Peace

I felt no transition.

The white void simply dissolved like mist at dawn, and suddenly I was there.

There were no walls. No ceiling.

I stood in a place that resembled an immense garden, but the rules of nature had been forgotten or lovingly rewritten.

Beside me, gigantic trees bore branches that carried summer flowers and dry autumn leaves at the same time. The ground was covered in grass that seemed made of soft light, and the air smelled of rain, wet earth, and something else... something that reminded me of the beginning of time.

The sky was neither blue nor black. It was a color that does not exist, a kind of pearlescent white that soothed the eyes.

Everything was still, yet alive. Silent, yet filled with subtle sounds, like the beating wings of a butterfly that never lands.

I sat on a stone that appeared beneath me, as if it had been waiting for centuries.

And then, they arrived. They did not come from anywhere. They simply were.

TECHNICAL NOTE 1: ON THE NATURE OF THE ENVIRONMENT

This level does not disorient. It clarifies.

The prevailing sensation is that the mind is being cleansed, as if all doubts and noise fade away, leaving only the essence of thought behind.

Observations:

- Time here flows in circles. What goes, returns. What is born, dies and is reborn in the same instant.

- There is no hunger, no thirst, no fatigue. The body seems to be merely a vague idea of presence.

- Reality here is malleable, but not treacherous. It adapts to what you need to understand.

A philosopher who resided here for years (or minutes) wrote:

"Here you learn that movement is not the only way to be. Silence is not the absence of sound, but the presence of everything that can be said. This place is a mirror that reflects not your face, but your origin."

He never wished to leave. It is said he became one of those trees, thinking in silence forever.

PRIMARY ENTITIES: THE CONTEMPLATORS

Description: They are humanoid figures, but made of a substance that looks like solidified smoke or concentrated light. They have no defined faces, yet they convey a sense of infinite wisdom. They wear robes that change color according to what they speak.

Behavior: They do not walk, they float a few inches above the ground. They speak in unison or alternately, as if they were a single voice divided into three or four persons. They do not teach; they converse.

Danger: None. They are the personification of questioning and peace.

PRIMARY TESTIMONY (CONTINUED)

— You arrived early — said one of them. The voice was soft, like water running over stones.

— Or late — added another. — Because here, early and late are the same thing.

I looked at them, without fear.

— Where am I? What is this place so... calm?

— This is the place of the Interval — replied the first, sitting in the air, cross-legged. — It is where reality breathes. Between one step of the world and the next, there exists this rest.

— Why is everything so strange? — I asked. — The trees, the time... nothing makes logical sense.

The third Contemplator smiled, though he had no lips.

— Logic is a fence you build to avoid getting lost. But here, there is nowhere to fall. So the fence is not needed. Look at these flowers... — He pointed to a plant that had buds, open blossoms, and dried fruit all on the same branch. — They remind us that everything is contained within everything. The seed already holds the tree inside itself. The tree already holds the seed. The beginning already holds the end.

— So... nothing truly changes?

— It changes in appearance — said the second. — But in essence, everything remains. Have you ever seen a wave separate itself from the ocean? It seems to have its own life, it seems to be a different thing. But it is made of the same water, and one day it returns. You call this life and death. We call it... breathing.

I stayed silent, looking at the infinite horizon.

— I walked through places that hurt the mind. Places that broke apart. And now... this. It feels like everything is falling into place.

— Because you are beginning to understand — said the first, approaching slowly. — The world you knew was made of pieces. Here, you start to see the whole. Imagine a huge book. In the previous layers, you saw only the letters, the words, sometimes the sentences getting mixed up. Here, you begin to see that everything is a single Story.

— Who wrote the Story? — I asked, lowering my voice.

There was a long, comfortable pause.

The three Contemplators looked at each other and then looked at me.

— The right question is not who — said the third. — The right question is: Where does the writer end and the writing begin?

— Are you saying that... the writer is the story itself?

— We are saying that it is all the same thing — they answered together. — There is no "god" up there, commanding things from far away. There is a Consciousness that is in everything, that is everything, that holds everything with a gentleness you cannot yet imagine. It does not force anything. It simply Is. And everything that exists, exists within It, like a dream within a mind.

— But it is so vast... — I whispered. — How can we be part of something like this without knowing?

— How can a drop know about the ocean? — they laughed softly. — It is in it, it is made of it, but it only sees its own small world. Until it realizes that the water around it is infinite. You are tired of searching, aren't you? Of running, of understanding, of classifying?

— Very tired.

— Then rest. Because the truth is not something you run to catch. It is something you realize you have already been holding in your hands all along. The secret of wisdom is not knowing many things. It is seeing the Unity in multiplicity. It is seeing that the different is not the separate.

ANOMALOUS ARTIFACT: THE WATER MIRROR

In the center of the garden, there was a lake with water so still it looked like a mirror of silver.

As I approached, I did not see my reflection. I saw concepts forming in the water, like scripture:

THE WHOLE IS NOT MADE OF PARTS.

THE PARTS ARE ONLY THE WHOLE SEEN FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES.

YOU ARE NOT IN THE WORLD.

THE WORLD IS IN YOU.

JUST AS THE DREAM IS IN THE DREAMER.

NOTHING ARISES FROM NOTHING.

EVERYTHING COMES FROM THE ALL.

AND EVERYTHING RETURNS TO THE ALL.

PHILOSOPHICAL FRAGMENT

"When you look at the sky and see the clouds pass by, do not be sad. They are not disappearing. They are merely changing form. The water of the river is never the same, yet the river remains the same. So is existence: an eternal flow, an immutable dance, governed by an Order that needs no rules because it is the very nature of Being."

PRIMARY TESTIMONY (CONCLUSION)

I closed my eyes.

For the first time since it all began, I felt no fear, no urgency.

I felt a calm understanding.

I understood that the strange things, the broken levels, the laws that made no sense... all of that was just the world trying to show me that reality is much larger, much vaster, and much simpler than I thought.

There was an Order.

There was a Unity.

There was Something holding everything, immovable and eternal, while everything around danced and changed.

I did not know the name yet.

I could not see the face yet.

But I knew it existed. And I knew I was safe.

— It is time to proceed — said the Contemplators, beginning to dissolve into the light of the air.

— The path still has many turns. But now you know you are not walking alone.

— And that the final destination... is not a place. It is a state of Being.

I opened my eyes.

The garden was fading away, but the peace remained.

The road ahead was clear and clean.

I stood up.

And I walked, knowing that every step led deeper into myself.

CATALOGERS' FOOTNOTE

This is one of the favorite levels among travelers. Many ask to return here when their minds grow weary of the madness of higher levels.

It is said that the philosophy learned here is not read, not studied. It is felt in the bone.

It is the first time one understands that "All is One" is not just a pretty phrase.

It is the structure of everything that exists.

ADDENDUM

Calm precedes the storm of comprehension. The traveler is now prepared to see greater things. The seed has been planted. Now it only waits to grow.
