Jose pressed his palms against the ground.
BOOM BOOM BOOM!!
A massive swarm of dark ghosts surged from the earth, crushing everything they touched as they charged straight at Kael.
"Kael!"
Makarov watched, his face filled with worry.
BAM!
Kael charged directly through the explosion, appearing in front of Jose in an instant.
"What?!"
Jose didn't expect Kael to just rush out of the blast like that.
VRRR!
"Rasengan!"
An orb of energy instantly gathered in Kael's palm as he slammed it into Jose.
BAM!
"Uwaaaaaaaa!!"
Jose let out a scream as he was blasted backward.
"What?!"
"How is this possible?!"
Everyone from Grimoire Heart was terrified now. Master Hades, Vice-Commander Bluenote, and Vice-Commander Jose—all three of them had been knocked back by Kael alone.
"How can this be happening?!"
Ultear's eyes widened in disbelief. She knew Kael was strong since he had defeated Jose and Jellal, but now he was facing three Wizard Saint-level mages at once. He was actually suppressing them. His strength was terrifying.
"Nicely done!"
Makarov couldn't help but cheer when he saw Kael cleanly injure the three of them.
This kid was showing power even greater than when he fought Gildarts.
"He can win! This kid might actually..."
Makarov had been shaken by Hades's magic before, thinking Kael stood no chance, but now he felt that Kael could win.
At that moment, Hades slowly stood up. Except for his torn clothes in the back, he didn't look injured at all.
"Impressive teleportation magic. You were the one who warped the Magic Council's Etherion away at the Tower of Heaven, weren't you?" Hades said, looking at Kael with a serious expression.

"He warped Etherion away?!"

The members of Grimoire Heart were shocked by those words. This included Jose and Bluenote. In Grimoire Heart, only Hades and Ultear knew it was likely Kael who had warped Etherion. No one else knew.
Hearing such explosive news made them react just like the Oracion Seis. They were terrified. That was the Magic Council's ultimate weapon, Etherion—a super magic capable of destroying a country in a single shot.
The Magic Council relied on the deterrent power of Etherion to keep the entire continent of Ishgar in check, ensuring neither good nor evil guilds dared to provoke them too much.
Hearing that someone could actually warp Etherion away made them feel like they were in a dream.

Kael admitted it directly. To him, it wasn't a big deal. The Flying Thunder God Technique was a space-time technique that could even warp a Ten-Tails Beast Bomb. Warping Etherion was nothing special.

Jose's eyes widened. He never imagined Kael could warp Etherion. How on earth did he do it?
"This kid... he's really taking off!"
Bluenote looked at Kael, his body trembling slightly. It wasn't fear, but excitement. It had been a long time since he faced such a strong enemy.

The members of Fairy Tail all arrived. After meeting up, they had heard from Wendy that Grimoire Heart was invading Tenrou Island.
When they heard Kael was planning to face Grimoire Heart alone, everyone hurried over. Grimoire Heart was the strongest dark guild. There was no way Kael could handle them by himself, so they all ran to help.
"Why are you all here?!"
Makarov asked as he looked at the Fairy Tail members.
Natsu replied, "How could we stay away with all that noise going on!"
"Master Jose!"
Gajeel and Juvia trembled when they saw Jose. Both had once been members of Phantom Lord, and seeing Jose again filled them with instinctive fear.
"Gajeel... Juvia... you traitors! You actually joined Fairy Tail!"
Jose's face became distorted when he saw them. He might have ignored anyone else, but Juvia was one of the Element 4 and Gajeel was Phantom Lord's top ace. Out of all the places they could have gone, they chose to join the guild he hated most.
Makarov spoke up, "Gajeel and Juvia aren't traitors! You didn't care about these children at all. You disbanded the guild on your own and left them homeless. You were the one who abandoned them. If there's a traitor here, it's you for betraying them!"
Now that Gajeel and Juvia had joined Fairy Tail, they were his children. He wouldn't allow anyone to bully them like this.
"Master..."
Gajeel and Juvia were deeply moved by his words.
It hadn't been like this before. They had grown up in Phantom Lord. Even though it wasn't a kind place, they were used to it.
When Jose suddenly disbanded the guild, they were lost and didn't know what to do.
It was Makarov who looked past the past and invited them to join Fairy Tail, giving them work and protection.
"Hmph! Gajeel! Juvia! Come over here right now, and I won't hold your betrayal against you."
Seeing them gave Jose an idea. Gajeel and Juvia were strong. If they joined his side, Fairy Tail would lose combat power while his side gained some. This would increase the chances of wiping Fairy Tail out.
Besides, if they became his subordinates again, his status within Grimoire Heart would rise significantly.
"No! I won't go with you! I am a Fairy Tail mage now. I'm happy at Fairy Tail. This place is many times better than Phantom Lord!"
Juvia immediately refused Jose. She loved Fairy Tail, and the person she loved was there. She would never leave with him.
"What about you, Gajeel?"
"I refuse too! I'm a Fairy Tail mage now, a mage of a legal guild. I'll never join a dark guild!" Gajeel said after calming down.
Jose's face turned pale with rage. He had personally extended an invitation only to be rejected. It made him look pathetic. "Hmph! Since you've made your choice, then perish along with Fairy Tail!! I will execute you myself!! I'll make you realize the price of betraying me!!"
Kael stood in front of Gajeel and Juvia, looking at Jose. "You want to hurt my comrades? You'll have to get past me first."
