Lucy recognized Midnight. He had been asleep since the very beginning.
"Leave this guy to us!"
Lyon stepped forward. Kael had already taken down two of the Oracion Seis, meaning Fairy Tail had already claimed two victories.
Lamia Scale hadn't defeated a single member yet. Even if Jura defeated one later, Lamia Scale would still only have one victory to their name. Such a record was undeniably pathetic, and he couldn't let anyone look down on Lamia Scale.
Seeing that everyone was scrambling to deal with the enemies, Kael was happy to stay idle.
"Ice-Make: Eagle!!"
Lyon raised his hand, unleashing a flock of ice birds that soared toward Midnight.
"Lyon! You're deciding things on your own again!"
Gray had no intention of handing the opponent over. Natsu and Erza had each picked an opponent, and he wouldn't be left behind.
Just as the ice eagles were about to strike Midnight, they suddenly veered off course, swerving around him.
"What?!"
Lyon was stunned, unable to comprehend what had happened.
"Doll Attack: Rock Doll!"
The surrounding buildings began to warp, quickly forming a massive stone golem.
The Rock Doll drove its fist toward Midnight.
BOOM—!
Just as the golem's fist was about to crush Midnight's head, it suddenly veered away, slamming into the ground beside him instead.
Midnight flicked his hand.

The Rock Doll's body was neatly sliced in two, along with a nearby house. Midnight followed up with a quick wave of his hand.
The shattered remains of the golem and the building went hurtling toward the group.
"Ice-Make: Rampart!"
Gray manifested a massive wall of ice.
BOOM—!
The debris slammed into the ice wall, and both shattered upon impact.
Lyon said coolly, "Stay out of my business!"
Gray retorted, "You're the one meddling. I never said I was handing this guy over to you."
"Hmph! Then let's see who beats him first!"
"Bring it on!"
Shua—!
Both of them simultaneously ripped their shirts off.
Lucy blushed and complained, "Why do you have to strip... and why both of you?"
She was used to seeing Gray strip alone, but now they were both doing it.
Jura stood before Brain. "State your purpose. What do you intend to do with Nirvana?"
"It seems you know nothing. 'Nirvana' is also known as Ultra Inversion Magic. In an instant, it can invert light and darkness. I can't wait to see the hellish spectacle of friends slaughtering each other!"
"I see. Since that is your goal, there is nothing left to say."
"Begone, maggots!"
Brain looked at Jura with a predatory grin.
Jura raised a finger.

The earth shattered, and a massive barrage of stones slammed into Brain, sending him flying.
Brain was frozen in shock. "...This... this magic power is..."
Jura beckoned Brain with a heavy expression. "Stand up. Since you're the boss of the Oracion Seis, show me your strength. I am going to break you completely."
Lucy was stunned. "Is this old guy really that strong?!"
Sherry said proudly, "Of course. Jura is one of the Wizard Saints!"
Kael nodded. Whether it was magic or raw magic power, Jura lived up to the title of Wizard Saint. Judging by his aura, Jura's magic power was likely at an elite level, even higher than Kael's current output.
While his magic attribute was common, his mastery over it was top-tier. Even for Kael, defeating him would take some time.
"I see. That was a bit surprising. It seems the title of Wizard Saint isn't just for show!"

Brain raised his staff, condensing magic power and releasing a swarm of dark spirits.

Jura let out a soft snort and pointed behind him. The rocks instantly twisted, blocking Brain's spell.
"It's useless!! Dark Capriccio is a piercing magic; it can bore through stone like paper!!"

The magic had just pierced the rock—
"Hah!"
Jura swung his hand down, causing the rock to warp again. Brain's magic was forced upward, missing its target.
"What?!!!"
The crowd was stunned by Jura's technical logic.
"Impressive!!"
Kael couldn't help but cheer for Jura's mastery. Although his magic was basic—just common earth magic—his level of control was absolute.
Brain was thrown into a panic by this sudden reversal.
"Hah!!"
Jura shattered the stone pillars, launching the fragments directly at Brain.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Stones swarmed Brain from all directions.
"Wh... what... is this?!"
Soon, the rocks had Brain completely pinned.
"King of Rock Crush!!"

The rocks exploded.
"Uwaaaaaaaa!!"
Brain let out a pained howl as he collapsed to the ground, unconscious. Another mark on his face slowly vanished.
"He did it!! That guy was the boss of the Oracion Seis, right?!"
"Incredible! As expected of Mr. Jura!!"
Lucy and Sherry were hopping and cheering, holding hands in celebration.
"Hey! Wasn't he your father? Your father just got put in his place!"
Lucy shouted triumphantly at Midnight.
Midnight chuckled. "It doesn't matter. The only reason father was beaten is because he was weak. I am different. I am the strongest mage, one who has surpassed my father."
"Reflector!!!"
"Aghhh!!"
"Waaaa!!"...
With a wave of Midnight's hand, the space around Gray and Lyon began to twist into a spiral, inflicting intense agony upon them.
"Gray!"
"Lyon!"
Lucy and Sherry looked on with desperate anxiety.
Soon, the magic ceased, leaving Gray and Lyon slumped on the ground, covered in wounds.
"Lyon!"
"Iron Rock Pillar!"
Jura pointed his finger at Midnight. Stone pillars erupted from the earth to strike him, but they all twisted around Midnight, reversing direction and shooting back at Jura. Jura hadn't expected such a phenomenon; unable to dodge in time, he was struck by his own magic.
"Gah!"
Jura was sent flying by the barrage of stone pillars.
"Mr. Jura! You bastard..."
"Space Distortion!"
Midnight waved his hand, and Sherry's clothes began to twist, binding her tightly. They continued to constrict, threatening to crush her bones and internal organs.
"Uwaaaaaaaa!!"
Sherry screamed in agony.
Seeing this, Midnight became visibly excited, licking his lips. "More... show me more of that pained expression. It's magnificent."
Suddenly!
Hum—!
Shuuu—!
A beam of black light shot toward Midnight. Midnight's expression shifted slightly, but he remained standing.
When the black flash hit Midnight, it suddenly veered off course, reflecting straight back toward Kael.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
