Chapter 28 - CHAPTER-27 "WHO WILL BE LEO'S BRIDE ?"

Isabella stood outside the intensive care unit, her shoulders shaking violently as she wept.

The chilling words of the family astrologer echoed relentlessly inside her mind, sounding like a death sentence.

"Your son is in grave danger."

Tina stepped forward immediately, wrapping her arms around Isabella to offer comfort.

She held her tightly, whispering soothing words as Isabella collapsed against her shoulder.

Isabella closed her eyes, the painful memory of her private conversation with the astrologer flashing vividly before her.

The old man had looked at her with a heavy gaze before delivering the grim truth.

"Your son is in grave danger."

Isabella had clutched the edge of the table, her voice breaking as she begged for a miracle.

"Please save my son and show us a way to protect his life."

"Just as you predicted, he is already meeting with terrible accidents."

"I request you, please, I am ready to do absolutely anything."

"I love my son so much."

Isabella had broken down into bitter tears, her maternal instinct screaming in agony.

"I cannot live without my son."

The astrologer had remained silent for a long moment, carefully recalculating the alignment of the planets on his charts.

He finally looked up at the desperate mother, his expression serious.

"I have been studying Leo's birth chart and its specific signs since the very day he was born."

"I know everything about his destiny."

"I have predicted before, and I will say it again, Leo's horoscope is completely unique."

"He will experience a multitude of miracles in his future."

"There is indeed a single way that can save Leo's life from this curse."

Isabella had stopped weeping immediately, wiping away her fresh tears as a ray of hope touched her heart.

"What is it?" she had asked breathlessly.

The astrologer sighed, leaning back against his chair.

"It is his marriage."

"However, it is not something that will be easy for him at this moment."

"Because I can feel it, his mind and his actions will be entirely different from now on."

Isabella had looked at him desperately, trying to grasp the solution.

"If he gets married, will all these terrifying dangers be removed from his life permanently?"

"Not completely," the astrologer had clarified in a solemn tone.

"But the girl who is destined to enter Leo's life will act as his ultimate savior and his shield."

The memory shifted, and Isabella suddenly remembered a conversation she had with Leo just a few weeks prior.

She had approached her son in his study, trying to persuade him to settle down.

"Get married, Leo, you are already well-settled in your career, and I want you to marry a girl who will bring a genuine smile to my son's face."

Leo had merely chuckled, a cynical flash appearing in his eyes.

"Girls only bring tears in love and relationships, Mom."

"Not a smile."

"And as for marriage, I don't think a girl has been born into this world who would truly care for me and add happiness to my life."

Isabella had tapped his shoulder in sudden irritation, reprimanding his cynical outlook.

Leo had immediately pulled his mother into a warm, reassuring hug, melting her anger away.

"Except for you, Mom, who really loves me unconditionally, and of course, sometimes my sister and my aunt."

"Please, Mom, never bring up or talk about marriage to me ever again."

"I am not ready for it now, and I won't be ready in the future either."

"I love the exact way I am living my life right now."

That had been Leo's final, unyielding statement on the matter.

Back in the cold hospital corridor, Isabella wiped her tears, her resolve hardening into pure steel.

"I will get him married," she vowed to herself in a fierce whisper.

"If it is the only thing that will save his life, I will make it happen."

She turned to walk away from the waiting area, but she froze for a fraction of a second as another part of the prophecy surfaced.

The astrologer had called out to her just as she was about to leave his chambers.

"Wait for a minute, child."

Isabella had turned around slowly to face the old man.

"Aries," the astrologer had stated firmly.

"What...?" Isabella had asked in confusion.

"Leo's birth sign is the lion, Leo, and the girl who is about to enter his destiny has actually been in his life already."

"Leo will even fall deeply for this girl."

"Because the Leo and Aries zodiac signs always possess the absolute best chemistry and pairing in the cosmos."

"The girl who carries the Aries sign must get married to Leo."

"Only then will he be completely saved from the impending dangers."

"Only a girl with the Aries zodiac sign, who has already crossed his path, holds the power to shield Leo from death."

"Because her incredibly strong horoscope aligns perfectly with Leo's, absorbing the threats around him."

Isabella had nodded eagerly, thanking the astrologer with a grateful heart.

But the old man had raised a warning finger, stopping her in her tracks.

"If this specific girl is around Leo, his life will be saved again and again."

"But if she fears the chaos, or if she runs away from the danger and is not by his side, Leo will face severe catastrophes that could cost him his entire existence."

Isabella had agreed silently before finally walking out into the night air.

Standing in the present, looking toward the closed doors of the ward, she repeated the vow to her own soul.

"I will get my son married to that girl."

"No matter what obstacles I face, I will search the ends of the earth for her."

"I will save my son."

Meanwhile, the spectral form of Leah materialized once again within the quiet hallways of the hospital.

She drifted past the white walls as a silent soul, her mind replaying the echo of Leo's declaration to his family.

"I love Elsa very much."

A small, beautiful smile touched Leah's ghostly lips as she walked, and she suddenly felt a strange sensation in her chest.

She kept her hand pressed against her heart, a deep, phantom rhythm vibrating through both her wandering soul and her comatose body.

Her heartbeat began to accelerate rapidly, running faster and faster as a familiar warmth enveloped her.

Leah instantly recognized the feeling; she could experience Leo's physical presence nearby.

She turned around in the corridor, noticing Tina weeping quietly near a door a few yards away.

Following the frantic pulling of her heartbeat, Leah glided through the heavy wooden door of Room 103.

Her eyes fell directly upon the hospital bed.

There lay Leo, his breathing slow, with a stark white bandage wrapped securely around his forehead.

He was completely unconscious, trapped in the deep sleep of his injuries.

The moment Leah's eyes locked onto his face, the wild fluttering in her chest stopped, her heartbeat returning to a calm, steady rhythm.

She stepped closer to the bedside, gazing down at the man who had consumed her entire existence.

"What is truly happening to me?" Leah asked herself in the silence of her mind.

"Why do I feel Leo's presence so intensely, and why have my heart and soul been completely connected to him since the very first moment we met?"

"What is the real relationship that we share?
