It was the next day and the big man called Maine just called her for a job. She accepted it to take her mind off this feeling.

She shouted as she jolted upwards moving her head to see him.

He teased and Lucy eyes narrowed as she huffed not wanting to sound like she was missing him.
'Don't overthink it to much, I never said anything about missing.'
She deter his words and she couldn't see him forgetting that the only way to do so was to summon him. But she had only 3 hours to have him help her.

Lucy eyes glowed as an incoming call was wrung in her head.
[Ey Lucy, I got our driver so come over in 1 hour we got something to discuss.]
The voice belonged to the man himself Maine.

The call ended, as she was getting ready to go.

He didn't judge her being a mercenary that what made her feel good. Lucy enjoyed not being judged especially by him.
"So how was it with your summoner?"
She asked the big question of the day, she didn't hear him respond to her. She was irritated and it showed in her voice.
(It was nice, I'd say they're a great summoner~)
Ace said vaguely making Lucy skeptic to who was his summoner. His tone was joyful and Ace didn't tease her of how she was acting.
"That's it?"

She didn't like that answer and Ace just smiled.
(Well, I can but if I tell about them to you, I have to tell them about you as you both would learn of each others existence.)

She didn't expect that answer and pondered to what to say next.

Lucy huffed cutely as she was annoyed how he was acting.

Lucy eyes widened as she glared at nowhere. She was flustered but she just composed herself. Though being cute was a first and coming from him felt good.

She acted mad when saying that but she said it quite softly not angry how he just called her cute.

Lucy was surprised as Maine a big burly guy with muscles was walking back in forth.
"Yeah, for some reason our greatest scavenger for parts is unable to be reached."
"Gloria should still be able to be contacted."
"Yeah that seems like it's not the case."
Another voice joined in as she had a mask on her mouth, short blond hair and wearing a pink coat.
"I had tracked her down and nothing."
Ace who hear it chuckled as it seems this was something Gloria was connected to.
"Want me to find her?"
Lucy asked as Maine destroyed a table.
"Argh! So annoying that Gloria has my Sandevistan and didn't even promise on bringing it.....Lucy we'll worry about that later as much as I hate to say it.....we have a mission from the man."
Maine calmed down, as he wanted to blow someone's brain out.
"I'll fill you in Lucy."
The blonde chick spoke as she was another netrunner like Lucy. Just as skillful as her, she was Kiwi. Beside her was a quite big woman wearing a jacket where her middle body section was exposed. She had the tomboy look as she was Dorio and a clanky looking man with a Mohawk was Pilar.
"Who's the new guy?"
"Our new driver here you may have seen him or heard of him."
"Heya partner names Falco."
A man who is quite the driver a racer at that. His name was known and Lucy knew of him.
"Lucy."
"Heard of ya, pleasure to me ya."
He waved at her as he was chilling. He was going to be their gate away driver and he was a dam good one.
"What did you need me for here?"
"Quick mission from the multiple eyed freak."
"Him again."
Lucy muttered, as Ace was curious.
(This is quite the team.)
'It's my mercenary group I'm in.'

"Gehehe! Time for some action!"
The man named Pilar cackled as he was excited to shoot some fuckers. As expected of him, the tomboy woman just chided him.
"Sometimes you got to calm down with being to hyper active Pilar."
"Eh? I can't help it!"
Dorio sighed and looked at Lucy as she felt different somehow. Same with kiwi as being the two only women they felt Lucy was strange a bit. But they didn't think of it as much.
