Hot burning water hit my back before I realized Isadora had pushed me into the hot spring. I didn't even know the water could be this hot, the liquid burning into my back.
I couldn't help the scream that escaped from my lips as the water scorched my skin before burying me under.
Water rushed into my mouth and my nose as I struggled to breathe. I could hear people screaming around me, but every sound around me was muffled.
Cold hands pressed into my skin as they lifted me from the spring. Water was in my eyes so I couldn't even open them.
"Why is it always her?"
"She's like a heroine in some tragic drama."
"She's always making a scene."
"We should've left her back then."
"Maybe it's her karma for killing Agatha."
The words filtered in and out as I cried, everywhere hurting. Soon enough I felt cold water all over me, like someone had put me under the shower.
