Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Divorce

"I've made up my mind. Let's get a divorce. Sign it. 200 million is compensation for your mental damage. Is that enough?" Samuel Morgan put down the paper and pen on the desk.

"Just two days after Lily Foster returned, you immediately wanted a divorce. You are so cruel."

Looking at the divorce papers in front of her, Natalie Brooks smiled bitterly, her gaze fixed on the man before her, his eyebrows and delicate eyes filled with sarcasm.

"Lily saved my life once. When you asked to marry me, I told you that I already had someone I liked. Remember?" Samuel said in a low voice, "And you also know why I agreed to marry you in the first place."

He was right. His grandmother, Mrs. Morgan, wanted him to marry her; otherwise, he would not be able to become the heir to the family.

After all, she thought everything was too good.

"Samuel, you have power in your hands now, and your lover has returned. So you no longer need me. I can tell you're very proud of this girl." Natalie picked up the divorce papers and glanced at them: "But we've been married for three years anyway. Are you giving alms to beggars?"

Samuel raised his eyebrows and said coldly: "Natalie, don't push me too hard."

"I have to improve, right?" Natalie raised her head and said with a sneer, "Do you think I'm that easy to bully? I've been like a pet in your house for three years, but I'm still a woman after all, right?"

"How much do you want to bid?" Samuel's cold eyebrows revealed a hint of impatience.

Natalie chuckled silently, her beautiful eyes cold: "2 billion."

"You..." Samuel suddenly stood up, his handsome face expressionless, his hands and feet stern, his voice cold: "Okay. Just 2 billion, tomorrow morning at nine, see you at the divorce court."

After saying that, he strode away.

Did he rush to meet his first love?

This was the man she loved for three years, no, to be more precise, the man she loved for seven years, only a husband and wife in name for three years.

Unfortunately, Samuel didn't know that.

And after signing these divorce papers, Samuel would never know.

"Miss, are you okay?" The maid Sophia walked over, a little worried for her: "The young master must be insane to divorce a good wife like you. Miss, don't agree to the divorce, wait until he calms down." He will definitely think of you..."

"Okay?" Natalie laughed at herself: "In his eyes, I'm afraid I'm nothing compared to that woman."

"Miss..." Sophia opened her mouth, "You can go find the old lady, she can definitely control the young master, you..."

"No need." Natalie shook her head, pursed her lips, and said, "Sophia, please keep this a secret, don't tell Grandma Morgan."

"But you..."

"I have my own plans."

Old Lady Morgan has always loved her; as long as she opens her mouth, she will definitely clean up Samuel, and absolutely not agree to divorce. Her health has not been good recently; she can't stand the stimulation. Natalie doesn't want to bother her anymore.

Moreover, she was also fed up with this marriage that she had maintained for three years.

Perhaps her brother was right, love did not belong to her; no matter how hard she tried, it was useless.

It was time to end it, it was time to go home.

The next morning, at nine o'clock.

Natalie walked into the court.

Samuel arrived, followed by a beauty wearing a white autumn dress. Her figure was thin, her whole body was weak, and the breeze was gentle, making people want to protect her.

Natalie smiled lightly, seemingly carefree: "No wonder you couldn't wait that long. If I were a man, seeing Lily like this, I would definitely love her too."

"I..." Lily unconsciously took a step back behind Samuel. She bit her lower lip, feeling wronged, "Natalie, Samuel, and I really love each other. Seven years ago, we made a private decision..."

Seven years ago?

Is the feeling here to swear sovereignty again today?

"You were an adult seven years ago?" Natalie sneered, "Moreover, Samuel and I were already married, so what are you?"

"I…"

"Natalie."

Seeing Lily about to cry, Samuel stepped forward to shield her, his eyes cold: "The one who married you was me, the one who wanted a divorce was also me. If you have any complaints, just come find me. Lily is innocent."

"Innocent?" Natalie pondered this word for a long time, then suddenly burst into laughter, tears welling up, not knowing whether to be sad or happy: "Samuel, I have been married to you for three years, until today I realized how stupid you are."

Although Samuel has not returned to that villa in the past three years, he also knows that Natalie has always been timid and weak.

Is this mouth so sharp now?

Hearing her words that seemed to have some hidden meaning, Samuel frowned slightly: "What do you mean?"

"I mean you…"

"Samuel, I shouldn't have come back. It's my fault for ruining your marriage with her," Natalie was about to say something when Lily interrupted, tears in her eyes: "Natalie, even if you don't want a divorce, or want to delay time, you can't scold Samuel."

This sentence made the newly arising doubts in Samuel's heart disappear; his eyes darkened, his voice cold: "Natalie, since you're here, we must divorce today; it's useless for you to delay."

A small and strong white lotus.

What a fool she was, blinded by.

Natalie wiped her tears, snorted coldly, and walked inside.

A moment later, Natalie walked out of that place.

Natalie stood by the roadside looking at the purple-red divorce papers under her fingertips, and sighed. As Natalie passed Lily, she straightened her back and puffed out her chest, her expression showing pride.

"Thank you for returning the position of young lady to me."

Is this a provocation?

Natalie smiled lightly and said calmly, "Then I hope you can hide your heart and never reveal your secrets again."

Lily's expression immediately changed: "I don't understand what you're talking about."

At this moment, a bright red sports car was parked on the side of the road. The hood was lowered, the car door was opened, and it was very cool.

The person in the car got out, wearing a bright burgundy suit, taking off his sunglasses, looking very handsome, elegant, and stylish.

Those charming peach blossom eyes approached, waving his sunglasses, and smiling brightly: "Hello Natalie."

Natalie was a little startled, a little surprised, but also very happy.

She walked over: "Why are you here?"

"To pick you up." Henry glanced at the unmarked divorce papers in her hand, smiled, and said, "Get in the car and talk."

When Samuel went out, he saw Natalie following a man into a car on the side of the road.

This was the latest Phantom model, only ten were produced worldwide, even though each one cost hundreds of millions, it had already been snatched away.

 He didn't understand.

Seeing him frowning and staring, Lily bit her lip and said softly with a sad expression: "She really found a new home, but she's still following you around, pretending to be weak."

In recent years, he had never heard Natalie interact with anyone outside. It seemed like she didn't have any friends. How could she know such a person? Samuel frowned even more; his deep eyes flashed with a gloom.

Seeing that he still didn't move, Lily gritted her teeth silently. She reached out and grabbed his sleeve, shaking it gently: "Samuel, I'm so cold, let's go back quickly."

Samuel regained his composure. He lowered his head to look at her, then quietly pulled his sleeve: "I have something to do at the company, let Oliver take you home first."

After speaking, he left.

"Samuel..."

"Miss Lily."

Oliver followed behind, seeing that she was about to chase after Samuel. He strode to block her way, politely saying, "Get in the car."

After all, they were divorced; sooner or later, she would become the young lady of the Morgan family, and there was no need to worry. At this moment, Lily turned her head, glanced at Oliver, then she turned around and got in the car.
