Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Kingdom Of Tupmur

Beneath gentle, soothing winds, the scenery was breathtaking to behold—an endless sea of greenery and fertile land that allowed crops and plants to flourish. It was a kingdom blessed with rich soil, where lush green landscapes covered almost the entire region. Countless varieties of plant life thrived throughout this land. This kingdom was known as the Kingdom of Tupmur.

Hundreds of plant species lived across the surrounding areas, their numbers even reaching tens of thousands. The land stretched so vast and seemingly limitless that the naked human eye could not possibly distinguish the tens or hundreds of thousands of plants growing throughout the beautiful Kingdom of Tupmur.

At the same time, towering mountains and rising hills pierced the sky, creating an indescribable beauty whenever the sun rose or set. The colors that appeared during these moments were countless, captivating every living being within the kingdom. In the northern region of the kingdom stood enormous, towering trees—massive in size and greater in number than anywhere else. The North was truly a land of giant trees.

In the southern region, however, there were countless trees with lush green leaves of various shades. Gazing upon them felt as though one were surrounded by endless greenery and a refreshing coolness that brought immense comfort. The fertile leaves released an atmosphere of gentle chill, like a moderately cool spring season—something difficult to put into words.

The southern region was a place where many inhabitants came to rest and seek peace. The soothing environment brought immeasurable calm, relieving the stresses of daily life and creating a joyful atmosphere that nurtured deep affection among the people.

In both the eastern and western regions, flowers bloomed endlessly, as though spring would never end. The difference between these two regions lay in the types of flowers they bore. In the west, flowers bloomed in shades of red, purple, and green. In the east, they blossomed in blue, yellow, and orange. Not only did their colors differ, but so did their fragrances. When the winds blew, petals from both regions scattered across the sky, resembling a heavy rain of flowers falling over the land.

The primary source of energy in this kingdom came from plants. Initially, energy was drawn directly from Iktas, but over time it was converted into energy derived from the remains of dead or fallen plants. To explain further, Iktas was an energy that existed within every human being from birth. Iktas could be divided into several elements, such as Fire, Ice, Earth, Water, Lightning, Wind, and other known energies. In this era, most kingdoms across the world relied on Iktas as their primary energy source before converting it into secondary forms of greater power for daily life. In other words, Iktas was essential to human life used for work, creation, construction, and countless other purposes.

A piercing sound shattered the morning silence in the northern region of the Kingdom of Tupmur, disturbing the residents living nearby. As a result, a council meeting was convened to resolve the problem the deafening noise that occurred in the morning, afternoon, night, and even at midnight. The sound was powerful enough to shatter glass in its vicinity and injure nearby residents.

"We must find a way to solve this problem!" one council member exclaimed.

"If we don't, the people will suffer!"

"Yes, we must resolve this as soon as possible," another added. "But first, we need a solution."

"That is why we are gathered here," someone replied.

The sound of fists striking the council table echoed through the hall.

"Everyone, please calm down," a serious voice commanded.

"I, as the leader of the northern region, have found a possible way to resolve this issue," the man continued. "However, I am uncertain whether it will be effective. In other words, the chance of success is only ten percent."

The northern leader proposed his idea to the council. He was known as Lord Saona, a man around fifty to sixty years old. Despite his age, he did not appear elderly. His body was firm, his posture strong, and his expression serious yet kind. He was firm in character, with a handsome face, a thin mustache, and neatly kept short hair.

"What is your proposal, Lord Saona?" asked a second level council assistant.

"Do you all know about travelers… or rather, adventurers?" Lord Saona asked, his serious gaze sweeping across the hall.

"What?! Adventurers? Are we really going to ask adventurers for help?" shouted a council member sitting to the left, clearly shocked.

The hall fell into tension as whispered discussions erupted among the members.

"Everyone, please remain calm!" said the first-level council assistant. "Let Lord Saona finish speaking."

"He hasn't finished explaining about the adventurer yet."

The hall instantly fell silent.

"Hmmm, thank you," Lord Saona said with a faint smile.

"The adventurer who will help us is no ordinary one. At first, I myself was uncertain. But after careful thought, I realized I had no other choice except to hire him for half of Nailber."

"What?! Half of Nailber? That's far too much!" exclaimed a council member from the right.

"Yes, I know it is a great sum," Lord Saona replied calmly. "But I have no other option."

"Oh, before that, allow me to introduce this adventurer."

A sudden sound echoed from the entrance.

The figure of a young, handsome man appeared at the doorway of the council hall. His body was slim, not particularly large, but moderately muscular. His hair was thick, soft, and black with a bluish tint. His left eye was pink, while his right eye was blue. His skin was fair, and from his appearance, he seemed to be around eighteen or nineteen years old.

"Hmmm, let me introduce—" Lord Saona began, but the young man interrupted him.

"Yosh! How's everyone doing?" he said cheerfully with a bright smile.

"My name is Rihisna, a solo adventurer."

The entire hall fell silent, broken only by the sound of wind powered energy flowing through the hall.

"Ahem! Very well," Lord Saona said. "This is the adventurer I have hired for our mission. Does anyone have objections?"

The council members were speechless.

From Rihisna's presence alone, an overwhelming aura of energy could be felt far beyond the ordinary. At the same time, his feet did not touch the floor. He hovered slightly above it, floating effortlessly.

"Hahaha! This is truly promising," said the first-level assistant.

"With this, I feel confident in this mission."

"Yes, he's extraordinary," added the second-level assistant.

"In that case, I fully agree with this proposal."

"Very well," Lord Saona said. "Two council members have voiced their agreement. What about the rest of you?"

Whispers filled the hall once more.

Lord Saona struck the table again.

"Alright. It seems everyone agrees," he said, surveying the room.

"As the representative of the council, I hereby approve Lord Saona's proposal, the Head of the Kingdom of Tupmur, and we shall proceed immediately!" declared the first-level assistant loudly.

"I also agree," said Lord Saona.

"And the mission will commence tomorrow."

"Hmmm, it seems Lord Saona's estimation was too modest," the second-level assistant said confidently.

"In my view, the success rate of this mission is ninety percent. Am I wrong?"

"Hahaha!" Lord Saona chuckled softly, surprising the council.

"Yes, you're right. At first, the chance was only ten percent. But now that the entire council agrees, it has become a ninety percent chance of success."

The hall filled with smiles and pride, and a strong sense of motivation rose among everyone as they prepared for the mission ahead.
