Chapter 184 - Chapter 180: The Blooming Rose

During this time, her eyes never left Viserys.

"I stayed in Valyria for a year. I have been watching you, watching your empire, and watching your dragons," she said, her voice trembling slightly but remaining steady.

"I wanted to become your queen and place House Tyrell in the safest position. But I didn't want to be just one of your many women, sharing you with others. This was my pride, and also my folly."

She continued, "Later, I understood. A man like you cannot be moved by schemes. In the future, you will have more women—the Princess of Dorne, your nieces and sisters, the priestesses of the red god... A man like you never belongs to any single woman. The 'only one' I desired was impossible from the start."

She paused, her eyelashes fluttering gently. "But I still chose to come."

She reached out, her fingers landing on her chemise.

"I don't want to wait anymore," she said. "If I keep waiting until you return to Westeros, there will be even more people around you, more women, more choices. By then, I might not even have the chance to stand before you."

The chemise also slid down, landing on the pile of her dark green outer dress. Moonlight streamed through the window, casting a silver halo over her bare body.

The rose of Highgarden was now fully revealed before Viserys, her figure slender yet well-defined, her skin glowing with a healthy pale gold. Her long brown hair cascaded over her shoulders and hung down her chest, obscuring some of the beautiful scenery.

Viserys stood up and simply looked at her. Margaery raised her head, her green eyes looking directly at him without flinching, standing there and allowing him to observe her.

"You came here just for this?" he asked.

Margaery shook her head. "I came here for House Tyrell, and for myself."

Her voice was soft but clear. "I no longer ask to be the only one. But the war is about to begin, and I cannot simply go back like this. My grandmother sent me for the future of House Tyrell. But if I don't do something, my father will ruin everything with his own hands."

She paused, her voice dropping lower.

"Your Majesty, I want to give myself to you. If you do not want me, I can only return to Highgarden, marry some noble, and live a mediocre life. But I don't want that. My dream is to be a queen, and in my eyes, you are the only king."

"And you are very handsome," she said, the corners of her mouth curling slightly. "Even if I can only be a mistress, I won't lose out."

Viserys chuckled.

Margaery saw Viserys smile and took a step forward, her bare feet stepping on the cold stone floor as she stood before him.

Viserys also reached out, his fingers threading through Margaery's long hair as he tilted her chin up.

Margaery swallowed softly, her eyelashes trembling, but those green eyes still looked directly at him with earnestness.

"Have you made up your mind?"

"I have," she said, her voice firm. "Your Majesty, I know what I am doing."

Viserys lowered his head directly; he had long wanted to pluck this thorny rose.

When his kiss fell on her lips, Margaery closed her eyes. Her lips were soft, with a faint taste of honey, and her whole body emitted a rose fragrance that had already filled the study, captivating the mind.

Margaery was a bit clumsy at first, but she quickly learned to respond, her hands climbing onto his shoulders and tightening slightly.

Viserys's hand slid down from the back of her neck, following her spine all the way down. Margaery's breathing became hurried, her body trembling slightly in his arms, but she pressed even closer.

After a long time, Viserys released her. Margaery's lips were slightly swollen and her breathing was unsteady, but her green eyes shone with a passionate light.

"Go to my bedroom," Viserys said, looking at Margaery.

Margaery nodded and moved to pick up her dress from the floor, but Viserys simply picked her up in his arms.

Margaery's arms instinctively wrapped around his neck, her whole body hanging on him, her face buried in his chest where she could hear his powerful heartbeat. Her own heart beat even faster, as if it were about to jump out of her chest.

The two of them walked through the hallway. Along the way, Margaery worried someone might see them, unaware that Viserys had the ability of a Skinchanger and had already bypassed the guards and maids.

Back in the King's bedroom in the Freehold, Viserys laid her on the bed.

Margaery lay on the dark sheets, her rosy-white skin looking exceptionally striking, her brown hair spread out, and her green eyes appearing even more hazy.

Without much delay, Viserys leaned over, starting with a kiss on her lips and working his way down. Margaery's breathing grew more and more hurried, her fingers clutching the sheets, her body trembling gently with his movements.

"Don't be nervous," Viserys whispered.

Margaery nodded, trying to relax. But when it actually began, she couldn't help but frown and let out a soft gasp.

Viserys stopped and looked at her.

Margaery bit her lower lip, and after a moment, she looked at him and nodded gently. "Continue."

As time passed, Margaery gradually adapted, moving from passive to responding. Her body was soft and warm, her reactions genuine and moving.

Those green eyes watched him the entire time, even at the height of passion, she tried to keep them open as if to etch everything into her memory.

When it was all over, Margaery curled up in Viserys's arms, exhausted, but her hand still gently gripped his arm, unwilling to let go. There were sweat and tear marks on her face, but a satisfied smile played on her lips.

"How does it feel?" Viserys asked with a bit of mischief.

"It hurt a little at first, but then it was very comfortable," Margaery answered honestly, as her grandmother had once told her that sometimes telling the truth makes a man cherish you more. "But I think it was worth it."

She looked up at Viserys with a hint of hesitation in her eyes, opening her small rosy mouth. "Your Majesty, I want to ask a favor of you."

Viserys looked down at the woman in his arms; he knew this rose wouldn't be easy to pluck, but he still spoke. "What is it? I will agree if I can."

"Let me return to Westeros with the army. I want to see you retake the iron throne with my own eyes," Margaery said. Seeing Viserys's expression as if he wanted to refuse, she quickly added, "I would be going back as the representative of House Tyrell."

Viserys looked at her, knowing there was more to be said.
