King Kingo raised a hand calmly, interrupting his son before he could continue.
"You shouldn't judge a book by its cover, Balniac," the king responded seriously, though his eyes gleamed with confidence. "She is very strong. Moreover, she knows about the glow from five years ago… In fact, she came forward on her own without me saying anything about the light incident."
Balniac frowned but couldn't object further. Reluctantly, he accepted his father's words and led Xandia to where little Arios was sitting. The boy was perched on a low chair, completely absorbed in a colorful book whose cover read: "The Adventures of Hiro."
