Lana arrived at the entrance of their home, she could hear the voices of Yuan and Evan coming from the couch she slowly takes steps towards them, they seem to be too indulged in their conversation as they haven't even noticed someone is walking behind them and without a warning Lana pops her head behind them in a high pitch voice,
Lana : HII SISTAS!!
Yuan and Evan both flinch at the sudden appearance of Lana, while Evan clenches his chest Yuan looks at Lana with widened eyes as if he has seen a ghost,
Yuan : For Christ sake Lana what even was that??
Lana shrugs her shoulder as she takes a seat between the two,
Lana : Neither of you even noticed that I have arrived here
Evan : And you had to make sure your presence is noticed by shouting like that
Lana : Ofcourse
Yuan rolls his eyes on the other end hand Evan chuckles lowly,
Lana : So..what were you two talking about?
Yuan : Nothing much… just guys talk
Yuan gives a mischievous grin while glancing at Evan who pretends to clear his throat looking away Lana noticing the exchange raises an eyebrow,
Lana : Woah since when did the "guys talk" come between us
Yuan : Lana maybe you didn't noticed but we are guys
Evan Snickers while Lana punches Yuan on the arm making him wince while rubbing the area,
Yuan : Or I guess you forgot you are the girl
Lana : I haven't forgotten any of our genders, I mean since when did you two started having such private guy talks
Evan : Well let's just say Lana somethings are to be kept hidden from you
He gently flicks her head making her head jerk a bit while Lana pouts pretending to be hurt,
Yuan : If I did that..you would be chasing me around the house
Lana : Yeah cause you are "Yuan"
Yuan raises an eyebrow totally taken a back by being excluded like that,
Yuan : Excuse me? What do you mean I am Yuan?

Yuan : I see Evan gets a special treatment from you while you get a special treatment from him and what about me??
He folds his arm trying his best to make the puppy eyes but failing miserably,
Lana : You look like a lost goldfish
Yuan blinks his eyes while Evan bursts into laughter ,

She points to the tiny fish tank where a gold fish is wiggling in the place,
Lana : Might be your lost twin
Yuan : God Lana
Lana : Why did you think only you can roast me?

Yuan shakes his head in defeat, while Evan raises a finger and makes a zero with the other hand
Yuan : Fine this time you win
Lana : Omg did I just win against Yuan??
Yuan rolls his eyes while Evan continues to laugh at the little banter between the two Lana claps her hands to bring the attention,
Lana : Okay guys I have submitted the report to Yuan's girlfriend
Yuan : You could have said Tressie
Lana : It's easier for Evan to know
Yuan : He knows she is your friend
Lana : Anyways
Yuan facepalms himself while Lana continues the details while Evan smiles looking at the two,
Lana : So I have submitted the proof and Tressie will be talking to her team they seem to have been performing some illegal experiments on their patients and this seemed to have involved the entire team and remember something was strange about the journal we found
Evan raises an eyebrow while leaning back on the couch arm rest area,
Evan : Someone might have dropped it there intentionally?
Yuan quickly retracts his hand from his face and looks up at Evan,
Yuan : Oh my god that could be a possibility!
Lana : Someone might have wanted to expose their secrets and maybe try to bring justice to the case?
Evan : Could be someone who worked their and found the illegal happenings or maybe someone who was involved in it and later felt guilty
Lana nods her head while Yuan takes in the possibilities,
Lana : that could be the case we'll find out soon
The other two take in the information while Lana shares a glance with the two,
Lana : Hey guys are just gonna sit around like that why don't we do something it's such a nice day and we are done with our part of work in this case
Yuan : Well she is right and am sure Tressie will uncover the mystery real soon
Lana : Praising his girlfriend
Lana shakes her head while Yuan turns to face her,
Yuan : Do you have to tease me all the time?
Lana : Lemme think…
She pretends to be thinking hard before she smiles and nods her head
Lana : Yess
And with that the two of them went back to their bickering schedule while Evan just watches the two kids fight among themselves chuckling in between…
