Chapter 10 - Chapter 9.1: What a messed up introduction right?

The early morning's breeze brought about a chilling feeling as always, a little gust blew dirt from the ground.

Trout had been chatting with the other people for a while now.

"So like, you really lost all your memories and got in debt?" Scaros said. His lips were smirking and his eyes dazzling like it was the funniest joke he has ever heard.

"Yes, apparently. Not something so laughable don't you agree?" Trout replied to the smirk on Scaros's face. His helmet has stayed at a slight grey light the entire conversation instead of the normal white.

Liones, who has been standing behind Scaros, tapped on his shoulder and whispered something into his ears.

"WHAT? ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT I'M RUDE?!" Scaros yelled. Liones shook her head violently and buried her face inside his ragged coat again.

The person who's been quiet most of the conversation, the tall figure gave out a sigh and snapped his fingers.

"I assumed you all have basic knowledge of our upcoming mission." He looked down to the others.

Scaros looked away from his gaze while Liones looked back at the man and slightly shook her head. Trout raised his hand.

"Say what you know." The tall man said.

"As for my knowledge, I know that we are going to investigate and eliminate a thing called a lurker that's been causing childrens to disappear." His helmet returned to the white glow. The man blinked a few times from the sudden change of light.

"Right...and aside from the written files, you read the news about this topic before?" The man asked again. Trout shook his head.

"What news? Aren't we waiting for a bus to bring us to the monster so we can slay it?" Scaros joined in the conversation.

The tall man closed his eyes for a moment then opened them back up.

"I assumed that you knew where the lurker is and that you can lead us to it's exact location." The tall man said. Scaros stomped his foot down on the ground then walked to the rusty seat of the stop and sat down while Lioness ran after him.

"Ignore him." The tall man said. He handed one of his hands out.

"I'm Tinmas, Tinmas Levotim" Tinmas said. Trout took his hand and shook it.

"Trout, just Trout" he replied.

Tinmas nodded.

The light of the stop turned on. Greenish LED light lit up the place.

"SH-" Scaros screamed and jumped away from the seat, dragging Liones who's been sitting next to him to fall to the ground. She stood up and looked aside just to Scaros fall face first on the ground with a rather painful posture.

Trout looked at the scene then heard a chuckle from next to him. Tinmas' lips were twitching up but the he faked a cough and got back on his posture.

Tinmas closed his eyes and gave out yet another sign. Scaros's face burned red with shame.

"I... I'm... I'M NOT STARTLED, IT WAS OBVIOUSLY MY EXTREME INSTINCT!" Scaros yelled. He stood up from the ground quickly, taking a few steps around.

Even when he tried, his legs couldn't lie. They were shaking and he sometimes touched his knees.

Liones walked towards Tinmas and stood behind him.

Trout looked at Scaros who's eyes were slightly tearing up then looked at Tinmas. His helmet shined on a grey scale.

Tinmas's fingers clinged onto his thighs, Pinching them. He took a deep breath while the corner of his lips twitched violently. Scaros pointed at Liones and took a strong step towards her.

"LONNY? There is no way you came to HE-" The shock from the step broke the final wall of him. His leg staggered and collapsed down again.

Trout shook his head slightly and walked toward Scaros. He handed a hand down to him.

"I DON'T NEED HELP!" Scaros swung his hand intending to slap Trout's hand away. But Trout simply took his hand back before the hit.

Losing his balance, Scaros once again slammed his face to the ground

"You all pity me don't you. I WILL show you how valuable and skilled I am. For i WILL be the one who completes the mission with perfection!" He screamed.

The scream was followed with a rumbling sound. The sound of an engine. A bus approached the stop and made a clean brake.

The door opened smoothly, a mechanical voice called from inside the bus.

"Please come inside."
