"Let him work through it. But don't push him away....that will make it worse. Just... be present. Let him know you're safe." Damon paused. "And maybe expect him to become more possessive for a while. Kane's going to need reassurance."
Later that night, Eve found Damian in his studio.
He was standing in front of a blank canvas, paintbrush in hand, staring at nothing.
"Paint me," Eve said softly.
Damian turned, surprise crossing his face. "What?"
"Paint me. I want you to." Eve started removing her clothes without waiting for his response. "I want to help you work through whatever you're feeling."
"Eve...."
"No arguments." She was naked now, standing in the middle of his studio, completely vulnerable. "This is what I want. This is what I'm offering."
Damian's expression shifted. Something wild flickered behind his eyes before he got control of it.
"Okay," he said roughly. "Okay. Let me set up."
