Damian absorbed that, turning it over in his mind. "What about you? What fills your cup?"
Eve considered the question. "Honestly? This. Talking with you. Being with you and Damon and Silas. Learning about my powers with Raphael. Spending time with Maya and Vessa. The pack bonfire last night." She smiled. "I'm still figuring out who I am too. We can figure it out together."
"Together," Damian repeated, and the word felt like promise and anchor both.
The office door opened and Damon appeared, looking rumpled and annoyed. "You both left. Woke up to an empty bed and a very grumpy Silas."
"Sorry," Eve said, not sounding sorry at all.
Damon's eyes tracked over them....Eve still wearing only Damian's shirt, Damian's hair mussed from her hands, the general state of satisfied dishevelment they were both in. His expression shifted to knowing amusement.
"Had a good morning, did we?"
"Very good," Damian confirmed.
