Chapter 67 - Chapter 67 – Let Youth Burn! Evening Elephant!

Crimson steam wreathed Might Guy; a terrifying aura pulsed from him.

Demon Slayer World.

"Humans can be that strong?!" Kibutsuji Muzan gasped. She had long known other worlds held strange powers.

Yet the earlier entries could still be explained away—humans weren't truly that powerful.

Tatsumi only became mighty by using the Teigu Incursio.

Emiya Shirou beat Gilgamesh only through Innate Territory.

Jotaro defeated Dio only with his Stand.

Arash is a Servant, not human, so he doesn't count.

But now it was different. These two—Six Paths Madara and Might Guy—were clearly human.

Yet they fought like monsters! Though their clash lasted only an instant.

To Muzan, either one looked capable of killing her with a single move.

As the rankings climbed, the power levels kept rising.

The title "Ultimate Life Form" felt increasingly hollow; a powerhouse from any world could apparently wipe her out.

Naruto World.

Naruto scratched his head, looked at the conflicted Kakashi and asked, "Kakashi-sensei, do you know that bushy-brow guy?"

"He's not 'bushy-brow,' he's Might Guy, a Jonin of Konoha and my… rival." Kakashi's tone was complicated.

Normally those words would carry a smile.

Now he could feel his three students eyeing him with clear disdain.

As if saying, You fought that guy? He's leagues above you when you faced Zabuza.

"Still, you've awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, Kakashi," Sasuke noted the change in Kakashi's eye.

Watching the Mangekyo on screen, envy, jealousy and hatred flashed in Sasuke's eyes.

Mangekyo Sharingan—the word reminded him of Uchiha Itachi and the night his clan was wiped out.

To beat Itachi, he knew he had to unlock the Mangekyo himself; it was essential.

"Yeah, I never thought I'd awaken it either," Kakashi murmured. He hadn't expected Obito's Sharingan to evolve into a Mangekyo in his care.

If only Obito were still alive, he mused, lost in sorrow.

On screen, the red-steamed Might Guy vanished.

The scene shifted to a forest.

Three children stared ahead, faces grim; seven men armed with different blades appeared.

"That's the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Hidden Mist!"

"What do we do? We can't beat them."

The three youngsters stared at the seven figures ahead, their faces ashen; every one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist was a Jonin.

Alone, any one of them might have been beaten, but now—facing all seven—they had no chance.

Cha!

A middle-aged man in a green bodysuit burst onto the scene, green vapor rising from his body. He exhaled in relief. "Made it in time"

"Dad?!" Young Might Guy gaped.

The other two children exchanged glances, reading in each other's eyes the same shock: Might Duy should not be here.

Viewers watching the footage wondered why the boys looked so stunned.

"Dad, you're only a Genin—what are you doing here?" Guy answered their question: his father was a mere Genin, no powerhouse.

"Enough talk—run! I'll buy you time," Duy said, dead-serious.

"We flee?" Guy stared at his father's back. "Dad, they're Jonin—elite Swordsmen! You can't take seven alone!"

It wasn't about trust; the gap was just too wide.

Duy met his son's eyes. "I have the Eight Inner Gates Formation."

Guy froze, voice trembling. "But that technique—"

"Self-rule." Duy guessed the objection and gave a thumbs-up.

'!!!!!'

Guy's pupils shrank as he remembered his father's teaching.

When you open the Eight Gates, you must impose self-rule.

"Now is the moment...!!!!!"

"Open—Eight Inner Gates Formation!" Blood-red steam erupted from Guy; even his hair and brows blazed scarlet.

"The instant to protect what matters most—even at the cost of my life!"

As Guy's inner cry rang out, the camera cut to a tearful Rock Lee.

Everyone understood.

A legacy: once Duy had faced seven Jonin to save his son. No one knew that battle's outcome, but Guy had survived. Now, for his own student, he unsealed the death gate.

"Guy... you truly..." Kakashi was stunned.

"This can't be happening," Minato whispered.

High above, Uchiha Madara studied the red vapor through his Rinnegan. "Crimson steam—the unique aura when all eight gates open?"

He sneered. "Pathetic. Like withered leaves in autumn"

"True, but I won't simply fall" Guy shot back. "I'll become nutrients for fresh green leaves. When they sprout and spring returns—that is the blazing climax of youth!"

With that, he sprang; in a blink he stood before Madara.

Madara's eyes widened—so fast he hadn't reacted.

Guy raised his fist. "Evening Elephant!"
