Chapter 3: A Meeting with Fate šāØ
After class ended, Park Jisong walked out of the campus alone.
His bag hung loosely on his shoulder, but his mind was heavyā
filled with new faces, a new placeā¦
and the image of that tall, unfamiliar man he couldn't forget.
A cool breeze swept past the college gate š.
Jisong stopped for a moment and checked his watch.
"I'm getting lateā¦"
he murmured to himself.
Just as he stepped forward to cross the roadā
"Stop!"
A deep, firm voice cut through the noise.
Jisong froze and turned around.
It was him.
Tall, broad-shouldered, perfectly composedā
with eyes so deep they felt impossible to ignore.
Song Yeonjun.
Jisong's heart skipped a beat š.
It's really himā¦
Behind Yeonjun, a black luxury car stood waiting.
The driver looked nervous.
Driver:
"Young Master, the meeting time is approaching."
Yeonjun didn't take his eyes off Jisong.
Yeonjun (calmly):
"You were about to cross the road.
A car was coming."
Only then did Jisong realizeā
he had been so lost in thought
that he hadn't noticed the oncoming vehicle at all.
Jisong (bowing slightly):
"Thank you⦠I didn't notice."
Yeonjun gave a faint smile š.
It was brief, but it carried weight.
Yeonjun:
"You're a college student?"
Jisong:
"Yes⦠today is my first day."
Yeonjun paused for a second.
A spark of interest flashed in his eyes āØ.
Yeonjun:
"First day⦠and already so lost?"
Jisong smiled shyly.
Jisong:
"Just a little."
Suddenly, Yeonjun's phone vibrated š±.
The screen displayed one wordā
Chairman.
He answered the call.
Yeonjun:
"Yes, I'm on my way."
After ending the call, he looked back at Jisong.
Yeonjun (in a low voice):
"Take care of yourself, Park Jisong."
Jisong froze completely.
"H-How do you know my name?"
Yeonjun only smiledā
a quiet, unreadable smile š.
He didn't answer.
He stepped into the car š,
and the vehicle slowly disappeared down the road.
Jisong remained standing thereā
heart pounding,
mind filled with questions.
He knew my nameā¦
Who is he⦠really? š¤
As the car vanished from sight,
one thing became certainā
This meeting was not the last. šāØ
