Chapter 1: The Burden of Luck

Eunha opened her palm.

In the dim, flickering light of her laptop, the old bullet felt like a shard of cold ice against her skin. She gripped it tight, closing her eyes as the ghosts of her past began to crawl back into her mind.

She could still hear her mother's voice, echoing from years ago. "The day you were born, Eunha, your father's destiny flipped overnight..."

Before Eunha's birth, her father's business had been a crumbling ruin. But the moment Eunha took her first breath, the scenery changed. Old debts vanished like smoke, and wealth began to pour in as if the heavens had opened just for them.

The world called her a "Lucky Charm." To the entire clan, she wasn't just a child; she was a sign of prosperity. But as Eunha felt the jagged edge of the bullet, she thought bitterly: If I was so lucky, where did my peace go?She remembered the first scar—the School Award. She had poured her blood and sweat into it. But the teacher had snatched it, handing it to a girl who had done nothing.

"You're already so lucky, Eunha. You have everything... let this poor girl have this," the teacher had said with a dismissive shrug.

That was the day Eunha learned that the world doesn't reward merit; it rewards the best performance of a victim.

Even when she held a gun to her own temple and pulled the trigger, it was her "luck" that refused to let her die.Click. The gun had jammed.

"This isn't luck... it's a curse," Eunha whispered into the silence of her room.

Suddenly, her laptop screen glitched. Lines of neon-blue code began to cascade down the display like digital rain.

[ANALYZING LUCK FACTOR... 0.00%] [ANALYZING SURVIVAL STRATEGY... 100%]

Eunha's breath hitched as a message burned onto the screen:

"What they called 'Luck,' Eunha, was actually my first 'System Integration.' I rigged your father's success. I needed you to survive long enough for this moment."Her fingers trembled over the keys. "Who are you? How long have you been watching me?"

"I have been here since your first breath. I am the one who jammed that gun. And today, the men surrounding your house... I called them here, too."

Eunha looked out the window. Three black SUVs were idling in the shadows. Men in tactical gear were stepping out, scanners pointed directly at her room.

"The test is over, Eunha. The 'Lucky Charm' must die so the 'Warrior' can be born."

"Press ENTER and show them what you are truly capable of."

Thank you so much Every one

Let's see if Eunha can survive the glitch.
