Chapter 1 - The End of Humanity

The End of Humanity

Year 2207.

Earth had long since unified into a single federation and had nearly conquered the entire solar system. Human technology had reached unprecedented heights; the fleet of the Mantic could travel at 3% of the speed of light an achievement once thought impossible. Humanity stood at the edge of a golden age.

Aboard one of these vessels, the greatest scientist of the era , Ramesh , 75-year-old man whose mastery spanned physics, biology, and chemistry underwent a historic operation. A biochip containing the most advanced artificial intelligence ever created was transplanted directly into his brain. The chip was designed to analyze, store, calculate, and simulate at a scale far beyond human capability, effectively transforming him into a living supercomputer. Combined with his own intellect, it promised scientific breakthroughs that could propel civilization centuries forward.

The operation was successful.

Within his mind, a new layer of awareness unfolded. Information no longer needed to be searched for; it simply appeared. A screen manifested within his consciousness.

Host, welcome to the most advanced AI—Mira.

The transplantation marked a monumental moment in human history. Still, it required phased trials before wider implementation. If successful, the technology would be extended to other elite scientists. Due to its immense cost and complexity, commercial use was impossible for the foreseeable future.

One month passed.

The universe, vast beyond comprehension, cared little for human ambition. Humanity, despite its achievements, remained insignificant on a cosmic scale. Even a minor disturbance in the universe could erase an entire civilization.

That disturbance came without warning.

No one knew the cause whether it was repulsion, dark matter interaction, or an unknown cosmic phenomenon. A black hole abruptly altered its trajectory and began moving directly toward Earth at nearly the speed of light. It was located just 100 light-years away. Calculations confirmed a horrifying truth: the black hole did not need to reach Earth to destroy it. At a distance of 80 light-years, its gravitational influence alone would be sufficient to annihilate humanity.

This gave the human race only 20 years.

Every possible solution was attempted. Experimental physics. Exotic energy manipulation. Dimensional displacement theories. Faster-than-light evacuation concepts. Nothing worked. The laws of the universe remained indifferent.

On October 28, the end arrived. The gravitational wavefront of the black hole reached the solar system. Stars destabilized. Planets tore apart. Space itself twisted under incomprehensible force. Earth, along with its surrounding regions, was rendered completely inoperative matter, energy, and information collapsing into oblivion.Everything was overwritten.

Within the collapsing vessel, the protagonist remained conscious until the final moment. Mira processed billions of simulations per second, but even infinite computation could not defy reality itself. There was no escape.

Humanity died.

Civilization vanished.
