The Vampire Dracula is dead.
The current Dracula belongs to Heaven.
Hock listened to these words, then looked at Blood God Madora's expression, his thoughts racing.
The next second.
He recalled the words of Dr. Merrick, the cloning expert, before his Death.
Hock's eyes narrowed as he met the gaze of Blood God Madora, who was entirely condensed from blood.
"Heavenly possession?"
"They prefer to call it 'conversion,' but yes, possession."
"Bloodline creatures are bloodline creatures, Vampires are Vampires. My Dracula was a bloodline creature who believed in me, but he and his wife died in that great fire long ago. The current Dracula is no longer my Dracula, but a tool controlled by Heaven, used to completely kill me."
Blood God Madora's words were faint, and then he fully recounted the events of that year.
The story was largely consistent with what Mephisto had told Hock, with only a slight difference.
In Mephisto's story, while he wasn't a good person, he was the kind of villain who pursued 'sustainable development.' However, Jehovah, a minion of the Celestials, was a thorough villain who played the long game.
Blood God Madora did not deny this point, but in his story, Mephisto and Jehovah were never in opposition. Instead, they were both in the same circle, allies, but also in a competitive relationship.
After all, both Jehovah and Mephisto had powerful backers of the same rank.
Creator Gods—
Eternity and Death!
In Blood God Madora's story, when Earth fell from the World Tree, not only did Jehovah take an interest in Earth, but so did various other Dimensions and civilizations.
Sorcerers, Witches, Druids, and advanced technological civilizations.
This is why today's Earth has so many extraordinary creatures and lost technological civilizations.
Because once upon a time, Earth truly flourished.
But… "Jehovah, in the open, unleashed the Great Flood."
"After the Great Flood, Mephisto pretended to be in an endless struggle with Jehovah, but in reality, during their confrontation, we, the Dimensions who originally intended to stay out of it, suffered the most severe injuries."
"The boss and the second-in-command fought, and we, the third-in-commands, were wiped out."
"But my Dimension is the most special."
"As long as the Sea of Blood does not dry up, I will not die."
"As long as someone remembers me, my Sea of Blood will not dry up."
"So, to completely destroy me, Jehovah tore up my 'Blood Scripture,' controlled Dracula with a Heavenly soul, altered the name of my bloodline creatures, called them Vampires, and tried to kill me completely."
"I'm dying."
As Blood God Madora spoke, he unreservedly projected the true image of the current Blood God Dimension.
What Hock had just seen through that mass of blood was just the tip of the iceberg of the Blood God Dimension.
Because apart from the corner he had just seen, the other parts of the Blood God Dimension had long since dried up beyond recognition, leaving only a tiny patch, roughly the size of a river, of blood barely clinging to life.
Moreover, this river of blood was drying up at a visible rate. Once it completely dried up, Blood God Madora would meet his end, and the Blood God Dimension would completely transform into a truly ownerless Dimension.
Seeing this, Hock's mind stirred, and he subconsciously withdrew the Phoenix Fire surrounding Blood God Madora.
But!
"There's no need for that anymore."
"Just now, my last remaining believers on another Planet were also completely wiped out. Now, Deacon Frost, the last one who remembered my name, is also dead."
"My life is irreversible."
Blood God Madora looked at the Phoenix Fire moving away from him, chuckled, and then looked at Hock: "Do you know why Jehovah insisted on my Death?"
Hock raised an eyebrow.
"Because you are the only one who knows they are not enemies but allies, and you escaped from their grasp?"
"Not entirely."
Blood God Madora's lips twitched into a clearly delighted smile: "Because I once almost converted Jehovah, and it was because of this that he lost Earth, and it was because of this that he is so furiously determined to kill me."
Hock recalled the scene in the Hell Tavern where Mephisto boasted about defeating Jehovah and seizing Earth, glossing over the details. Hearing Blood God Madora's words, he suddenly understood.
Once again.
Mephisto, that old scoundrel, not a single punctuation mark he uttered could be trusted.
Fortunately, he had never intended to trust Mephisto anyway.
Hock thought to himself, then looked at Blood God Madora, whose aura was already beginning to wane, and asked his last question.
"Why tell me?"
"Because…"
Blood God Madora's gaze shifted, landing on Hock's Underworld, then he looked at Hock.
"The aura of your Law of Life and Death has a strong Mephisto flavor."
"Mephisto gave it to me."
"Heh, hahaha!"
Blood God Madora seemed to have heard an unparalleled joke. He looked at Hock, saying nothing, just laughing heartily.
Hock looked at the laughing Blood God Madora, stared for a while, and then seemed to be infected by the laughter, finally bursting into hearty laughter himself.
After a while.
Blood God Madora reined in his smile and looked at Hock: "That old scoundrel Mephisto is a master of taking but never giving. If you said Jehovah gave it to you, I might believe it, but Mephisto, unless he's desperate, would certainly not hand over his authority."
Hock also reined in his smile and shrugged: "I snatched it after killing his son, Blackheart."
Anyway, Blood God Madora was nearing his end.
Once the time came, Blood God Madora would die, and it would be a complete and utter Death.
After all, Dimension Gods, while Gods, are not true Gods.
Unlike Planet Gods, even if they are killed, their souls return to the realm of Death. If they can please Death and receive Death's exemption, there is still a chance for them to be resurrected.
But once a Dimension God dies, he is dead.
To describe it in East Country terms, it means his soul and spirit are scattered.
So… a dying man's words are good.
Blood God Madora was about to die, and Hock didn't want to play any tricks. He simply described how Mephisto had first tried to use Blackheart as bait to trick him, attempting to seize his authority, only for Hock to see through it and snatch a portion of the Hell Dimension's Law of Life and Death, then use the Four Creation Demons to merge into his Underworld.
After listening, Blood God Madora's gradually aging face showed some shock, but then a look of realization appeared on his face.
"So that's why Jehovah made a comeback."
"Hmm?"
"Jehovah and Mephisto had an agreement: if a powerful challenger emerged on any of the life Planets they controlled, the other party could intervene as a third party, first deal with the challenger, and then re-contend for ownership of the life Planet."
Blood God Madora said, then shook his head: "I only learned this during the process of converting Jehovah. Unfortunately, I found out too late."
Hock also looked enlightened.
"So…"
"Mephisto said Jehovah made a comeback, trying to silently integrate souls into his Hell, and then create new Death Angels to replace him…"
"Half-truths, half-lies, I suppose."
Blood God Madora chuckled: "However, what do Earth's Death Angels have to do with Mephisto of the Hell Dimension? You wouldn't think that Earth is the only life Planet under Mephisto's control, would you?"
Hock shook his head, then looked back at Blood God Madora.
At this moment, Blood God Madora's body, condensed from blood, was already tottering.
Hock didn't ask anything else.
What he wanted to know, he already knew.
He just said one last thing.
"Thank you!"
"You're welcome."
Blood God Madora, now dried to only the outline of his face, laughed freely: "Before I die, it's rare to meet a young man who is once again targeted by both Jehovah and Mephisto. So, don't fall into their trap like I did."
Hock also chuckled: "Don't worry, I'll avenge you."
Blood God Madora said no more, and under Hock's gaze, slowly closed his eyes.
The next second.
The blood on Blood God Madora's face also dried up completely, leaving only a blood-red drop of blood quietly suspended where Blood God Madora had disappeared.
This was the Blood God Dimension.
Whoever possessed this drop of blood would own the Blood God Dimension and become the new master of the Blood God Dimension.
But… Hock didn't look at the drop of blood. Instead, his mind ascended, instantly returning to reality.
His conversation with Blood God Madora seemed to happen quickly, but in reality, it was just the blink of an eye.
When he opened his eyes again, he was still in front of Blade.
Blade even still had the look in his eyes of wanting to dodge that mass of blood.
The next second.
Thump!
Blade's body finally received the command from his brain, leaped to the side, and then dove to the ground.
Hock turned his head and looked at Blade, who was sprawled on the ground, and couldn't help but chuckle.
However, he didn't speak to Blade. Instead, he took a step and instantly disappeared from Blade's sight.
When Hock reappeared, he was back on the ground.
Sharon, who was waiting outside, saw Hock appear, and her eyes lit up.
"Hock…"
"It's done."
Hock's hands were back in his pockets, and he looked at the expectant Sharon with a chuckle: "Blade and that female Doctor are still alive."
Sharon breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
Hock smiled slightly: "My business here is done. I'll be leaving now."
Sharon nodded.
"Okay, take care."
"Mm."
"…"
