" I'm here because my parents are going through a nasty divorce and my last year in school wasn't all that great as most of my friends left through the years because of bullying," says penny looking down slowly moving her pasta around her plate," I miss them and we were apart of this group called team star, it was meant as an anti bully club but stuff got out of hand. even when we were innocent we had to take the blame."
" sounds alot like Pokétech academy here in kanto before it was finally shut down two years ago," says Misty as I nod remembering the large scandals going on there.
" at least you both have freedom on what you can do now," I say as Penny's pokemon rub against my legs under the table. I hear their voices compliment my smell especially when jolteon lays her head in my lap.
" sorry about them they're usually more behaved but something about you they seem to like," says penny looking away as she fidgets nervously.
" it's fine, pokemon seem really easy-going around me or at least already captured ones. Wild pokemon are fifty fifty on how they act around me," I say as rub the eeveelutions heads and cheeks.
" oh that's nice," says penny as she stops suddenly and blushes before looking away as I hear sylveon snicker saying, " oh, naughty naughty. Using a toy in public."
I sigh as I hear that and I hear penny whisper, " he don't tell anyone." I got wide eyed as penny looks up sees my expression and blushes before running off. I get up and follow her and find her hyperventilating against a wall in an empty hallway. Lightly touching her shoulder she jumps before seeing its me and looks away.
" did you hear," asks Penny as she tries to go off but I hold her in place by Lightly squeezing her shoulder. Enough to grab her attention but not hurt her as I reply, " yeah I did I'm surprised you could hear sylveon talk," I say as she looks at me and looks away.
" yeah I've been able to hear pokemon or at least the eevee line since I was really young," says penny looking away before shuddering and says," but that's not what I meant. "
" yeah I heard and I'm sorry for sylveons teasing she's more teasing towards those she likes," I reply as penny fidgets with her skirt and I can tell she's upset and embarrassed. Before I could move a little she grabs my hand and holds it before saying, " I know we just met but I'm starting to like you." She pauses before kissing me on the lips and says," please take responsibility that was my first kiss." I blink completely shocked until I decided to kiss her back and say, " I don't think we should jump into a relationship since we just met but I'll be here for you and I'll listen."
She smiles and nods before wiping her eyes on her hoodie and we walk back to the table where canari looks at penny and says, " glad you could join us again." She laughs lightly as I sit beside misty and penny sits beside canari and we continue to talk and when it's finally time for the sun to set we go to our room and get ready for bed. The girls claiming the shower first and taking thier things with them. After they're done and ready for bed all in t-shirts and sleep shorts I get ready and go to bed as well. I'll talk to my mom tomorrow and the professor as well before going to do any trainer jobs.
