The brutal battle in the Dimension War raged on, showing no signs of stopping just because a couple of high-end units went down.
In fact, after the Hell Dragon was beheaded, even more Lord-class demons began to reveal themselves one after another.
Of course, the Hex Dimension side wasn't just relying on Ipei alone.
Bucky, the Hex Tyrant Dragon; the Hulk-DNA enhanced Brute leader; the Haro Mecha forged purely from Vibranium; and even Yuri-X, who had undergone chakra modification and was beginning to master genjutsu.
Any one of these units was a powerhouse capable of turning the tide of battle.
Not to mention the Hex army had started deploying pink nerve toxin across the battlefield again.
So, even though the fighting was intense, Luca didn't pay it much mind.
He simply turned to the tiny Vision floating eagerly beside him and gave an order.
"Go on. head over there and drop an ultimate. I don't need you tagging along right now."
Without waiting to see Little Vision's confused expression, Luca beckoned to Tony and headed straight for the base.
By the time Luca and Tony, along with the reinforcements and supplies, arrived at the Hex Command Building, Little Vision—still a bit dizzy from the sudden order—had already flown to the center of the battlefield.
Phasing through the chaotic attacks from all directions, he positioned himself, pressed his palms together, and sat cross-legged in mid-air.
The next moment.
Boundless golden Buddha light erupted from his small body.
Under this non-offensive, radiant illumination, all surrounding Hex units received incredibly efficient healing.
No... calling it "healing" wasn't quite right.
Because even the mechanical units—the main force of the Hex army—were rapidly repairing themselves under the surging light.
This Buddha light, defying all scientific principles, restored twisted metal and snapped components to their original state.
It wasn't healing. It was more like a conceptual power akin to reversing time.
The ultimate lasted only six seconds. But thanks to Vision's high-speed flight, nearly a third of the Hex legion basked in the golden glow.
Of course, Luca wasn't paying attention to any of that.
As soon as he stepped into the war room, the noisy yet orderly sounds of command filled his ears.
"Hurricane Tank formation in Sector C3, retreat 200 meters! Pull two squads of Virus Snipers from the fresh batch and execute a blanket sweep! Don't let those Hell bastards punch a hole in the line!"
"Elementals detected in Sector F8! Where the hell are the Laser UFOs?! Get them to coordinate with the Neural Control Drones! Guide those Elementals into the enemy ranks and detonate them! Do not let them interfere with the salvage team's transport route!"
"How long until Genetic Mutators 3 and 5 finish preheating?! Once ready, hit E3 and G6 immediately! If those Hell scum haven't learned their lesson and still dare to bunch up their Imps, we'll teach them a lesson they won't forget!"
"And another thing! Once the nerve toxin dissipates, deploy the Chrono Ivans immediately to scatter bombs! Tell those idiots! They are dropping bombs! Not suicide bombing with their precious teleportation devices!!"
"When you relay the order, make sure that maniac Ivan listens to me! If he can't control his subordinates this time, all their teleportation gear goes to the Haro troops from now on!"
In front of the massive command screen, Dunshan (Mountain Shield) was barking orders at rapid-fire speed one moment, then screaming curses with a twisted expression the next.
It was hard for Luca to connect this frantic commander with the stoic, rigid Turn-A squad leader he used to be.
Uh... should I find someone to rotate him out? Let Dunshan take a break?
I feel like if this goes on, the Dimension War won't collapse, but Dunshan might have a mental breakdown first...
Just as Luca was wondering if he should leave them alone and go do his own thing, Dunshan, who had noticed Luca's arrival long ago, finally let out a long breath. He took off his headset and walked over quickly.
"Young Master, apologies. I really couldn't step away just now."
Seeing Dunshan switch from "raging commander" to "serious butler" in a split second, Tony's mouth twitched.
But this wasn't his turf, so he didn't interrupt.
Luca, also finding the switch a bit jarring, didn't dwell on it. He asked curiously:
"The command... is it okay to leave it?"
Even though he had notified Dunshan in advance, it wouldn't be appropriate if his visit negatively impacted the war effort.
Dunshan shook his head slightly.
"No major issues. This is a war of attrition. Momentary micromanagement doesn't determine the outcome."
"I was just covering the retreat of the salvage units, and since Hell exposed some flaws in their formation, I wanted to exploit the opportunity to gain some ground."
Dunshan glanced back at the virtual screens and the other officers still coordinating the battle, then explained further.
"Actually, with Skynet's learning capabilities, it can handle most of the tactical movements now. Otherwise, relying solely on the command staff here wouldn't be enough to maintain high-intensity wartime command 24/7."
Luca nodded thoughtfully.
The "Skynet" he referred to was a subsystem separated from Hakimi, dedicated solely to war.
With the Hex Base's current production capacity, while most "Combat Haros" were assigned as pilots for mechs and tanks, a portion of "Chip Haros" were integrated into Skynet immediately after production to serve as computing modules.
For a meat-grinder war like this, Skynet's routine algorithms were usually sufficient. Experienced commanders like Dunshan were mostly there to handle emergencies or seize tactical opportunities.
Even during critical moments, like the one Dunshan had just micromanaged, Skynet's assistance played a key role.
As long as the overall "profitability" of the Hex Dimension was maintained, temporary gains or losses didn't matter much.
"Alright, as long as you have a handle on it."
Satisfied, Luca waved his hand casually and gestured to Tony beside him.
"Here. Tony Stark. You know him."
"The cannon fodder baby I found for you."
