Ficool

Chapter 134 - Chapter 136: Hakimi and the Stealth Coating

Yes, the [Wyvern Drone].

Although Luca hadn't found much while actively searching for synthesis materials, a recent business trip to his factory in Tennessee had yielded an unexpected surprise.

The drone itself might not be a game-changer for Luca's personal arsenal, but reverse-engineering it to upgrade Aurantius Industries' combat drone line? That was a solid plan.

With all the materials gathered, Luca didn't hesitate.

Circle drawn. Hands clapped. Synthesis complete.

The white light faded, revealing a sophisticated, sci-fi briefcase sitting on his workbench.

It was painted a deep, almost black, military green, with subtle tan accents.

On either side, three metal wing-blades with integrated rotors were folded flush against the case, seamless and sleek.

The "briefcase" was compact, about 30-40cm wide. The front face was studded with high-definition optical sensors for targeting and navigation. A single, miniature machine gun barrel protruded slightly from the bottom front, currently inactive.

"It's not too heavy. Definitely looks like a high-end business briefcase."

Recalling the system's description of the [Wyvern], Luca chuckled and shook his head.

"Convenient or not, it's still just a drone. And for a drone, this thing is chunky."

"Instead of lugging this around for a 'corporate war,' wouldn't it be easier to just carry two pistols in a shoulder holster?"

Luca was interested in the tech inside the [Wyvern Drone], but the product design philosophy?

Let's just say fantasy sci-fi sometimes prioritizes "cool factor" over practicality.

Remembering the warning about the lack of external control methods (since he didn't have a neural link), Luca looked up at the ceiling microphones.

"Hakimi, attempt to scan the briefcase on my desk. Analyze its structure and internal coding."

"Hakimi acknowledges. Scanning initiated. Attempting wireless connection to the device..."

A voice responded from the lab speakers.

It sounded similar to Haro's electronic voice, but smoother. It didn't have Haro's habit of repeating words like a parrot.

[Hakimi] was the new intelligent system Luca had installed in his lab.

It was his answer to Tony's JARVIS.

But unlike JARVIS, which was a singular, sophisticated AI, Hakimi was a hive-mind program.

The "hive" consisted of the army of colorful mini-Haros now populating Luca's lab.

As mentioned before, Luca had installed numerous charging docks. When docked, the mini-Haros pooled their processing power into the lab's main server.

Hakimi was the interface for this collective intelligence.

The more Haros docked, the smarter and faster Hakimi became.

The ultimate form of Hakimi was achieved when the Aurantius Haro (the Eldest Brother) docked and led the swarm.

In that state, Hakimi wasn't just faster; its AI personality became more human-like and creative.

However, the Aurantius Haro hated docking. It felt that merging into the hive mind made it lose its "unique charm" (and its ability to jump up and headbutt Luca's knees).

So unless Luca ordered it, the little orange menace preferred to roll around freely.

Back to the present.

Luca waited for Hakimi to display the blueprints of the [Wyvern]. instead, the AI gave an unexpected response.

"Scan failed. Unable to construct internal structural model. Connection failed. No wireless signal detected. Please attempt a wired connection."

"Huh?"

Luca blinked.

He looked at the drone. The status light was on. It was active.

Then he remembered the item description:

'When deactivated, it folds into a discreet, ordinary-looking briefcase... It also features anti-scanning tech...'

"Is it really that good?"

The scanning equipment in Luca's lab was top-tier, upgraded with Stark tech and his own inventions. Even without Baymax, it should be able to scan almost anything.

To be stumped by a briefcase drone?

This is actually good news. It means the stealth tech is legit.

Luca grabbed a data cable, modified the connector slightly, and plugged the drone directly into his computer.

This time, it worked.

Data flooded the screen. As Luca reviewed the specs, he understood the principle.

Militech, the manufacturer of this "commercial" drone, wanted to ensure their high-end corporate clients had a seamless experience.

They had applied a special signal-dampening coating to the exterior, similar to stealth fighter radar-absorbent material but far more advanced.

When the drone was folded, this coating formed a Faraday cage-like shield, blocking almost all signal penetration. It only listened for a single, specific encrypted frequency for remote activation.

Once the drone unfolded for combat, the coating's integrity broke, and the stealth was lost.

Without knowing the specific wake-up frequency, even Hakimi's full-spectrum scan couldn't see it.

"Damn. This really is for corporate warfare. If I can reverse-engineer this coating..."

Luca took a deep breath. Ideas were already spinning in his head.

Having the stealth break upon deployment is a waste. If I can apply this coating to other things... like the Boxer? Or surveillance bugs?

"Haro! Haro! Get to your throne!"

Bursting with inspiration, Luca called for the Aurantius Haro to dock so he could use the full power of Hakimi to analyze the data.

He called a few times, but the Aurantius Haro didn't respond. Instead, the other "younger siblings" chirped back enthusiastically, eager to please "Dad."

Luca gently pushed the noisy mini-Haros aside and looked around.

He found the Aurantius Haro in the corner.

It was rolling back and forth on top of a skateboard.

And the skateboard... was glowing.

"Wait! It's glowing?!"
