She struggled to pull herself together, since it seemed Flynn's gesture was only an innocent one. He might not know who she is afterall, else, he would have called on his colleagues by now. She reasoned.
"I am Haddie. Nice to meet you too." she reluctantly took his extended hands. Surprisingly, it was warm and soft, and he held on to hers a little longer, while holding her gaze.
"You are a beautiful woman, Haddie. And I guess this is your baby, right?"
She nodded. What could she say? Her sister's baby? Or her brother's baby? She managed to swallow her food, eating rapidly. The earlier she left here, the better.
"So, where do you live? You don't live around here, I guess. Because I am familiar with most of the folks in the area." he said.
