Chapter 115 - Chapter 115: Reuse of Waste

The moment Kytheron appeared, Hela's brow twitched.

"Who are you? Have you come to worship your Queen?"

Hela sized up Kytheron from head to toe, then a slight smirk played on her lips as she spoke.

"Queen?"

"Though she's a bit arrogant, she's not bad. She'd make a decent part-time enforcer!"

"Hela, right? I have a job that's perfect for you. Consider it!"

Kytheron likewise scrutinized Hela before speaking.

As Odin's eldest daughter and the former leader of the Valkyrie corps, no one had ever dared to speak to her like that.

Her gaze sharpened, and she swept a hand over her head. Her previously disheveled hair instantly transformed into a crown-like shape, her robe became a tight battle suit, and a black cloak appeared behind her.

It seemed that for Asgardians, cloaks were indispensable.

Whether it was Odin, Hela, or even Thor and Loki, none lacked a cloak behind them.

A Night Sky Sword materialized in Hela's hand.

Then, she raised the sword, pointing it at Kytheron, and commanded, "Kneel!"

"It seems you haven't quite grasped the situation yet!"

"This isn't Asgard, and I'm not an opponent you've encountered before."

As his voice faded, Kytheron's figure vanished.

Watching Kytheron's disappearing figure, Hela's eyes narrowed sharply, and a bad premonition arose in her heart.

Her body instinctively teleported, but the sense of danger didn't disappear at all.

So, Hela continuously teleported, attempting to evade Kytheron.

However, her speed was still too slow in Kytheron's eyes!

The next moment, Kytheron suddenly appeared in front of Hela.

"Bang!"

With a crisp sound, Hela felt as if her head had been struck by a meteorite.

Her entire body flew out like a high-speed cannonball, crashing heavily onto the sea surface, instantly creating a massive wave.

Kytheron, standing at Hela's original position, still maintained the posture of flicking his finger.

"It seems the force was a little too much, but surely the Goddess of Death isn't that fragile, right?"

Kytheron watched Hela fly at least ten kilometers away, speaking with some uncertainty.

Immediately, Kytheron's figure flickered and he flew over.

However, the next moment, a black-green mountain of thorny swords suddenly rose from the sea, with Hela standing atop it.

She waved her hand, and massive spikes flew towards Kytheron.

"Hmm! The Goddess of Death truly isn't that easy to kill."

Kytheron merely thought, and all the flying spikes stopped in front of him, then reversed direction and attacked Hela herself.

Seeing this, Hela could only send out more spikes to counteract them.

But then, two dark red Omega Beams shot out from Kytheron's eyes, heading straight for her.

Hela quickly summoned another sword mountain in front of her to block them.

However, the two Omega Beams seemed to have trackers, suddenly curving just before hitting the sword mountain, still heading towards Hela.

Having no choice, Hela could only wave her hand, summoning countless weapons to resist the Omega Beams.

From those two Omega Beams, Hela felt a power even stronger than the Death energy she controlled.

Just as the Omega Beams were about to hit Hela, wailing, dark green specters suddenly appeared in front of her.

Their terrifying mouths were agape, as if trying to devour the two Omega Beams.

Unfortunately, Hela underestimated the power of the Omega Beams; the specters she summoned vanished into nothingness the moment they touched the Omega Beams.

Just as she thought she would also die, the Omega Beams suddenly disappeared.

She knew Kytheron had held back!

"Who exactly are you?"

"When did Midgard produce such a powerful being?"

Hela no longer had her previous domineering arrogance, only endless confusion.

In her understanding, Midgard was merely a dwelling for mortals, with little power to resist her.

However, Kytheron at this moment made her feel unprecedented pressure.

His completely playful demeanor proved that he wasn't fighting seriously at all.

Hela couldn't help but wonder if she had been weakened into a mere battle-scum by Odin's seal!

"Who I am isn't important, but now you need to know who you are?"

Facing Hela's question, Kytheron said casually.

"Me?"

"I am Odin's eldest daughter, the destroyer of the Valkyrie corps, the God of Death of Asgard, the future God King of Asgard, Hela!"

Hela rattled off a long string of her titles to Kytheron.

"No! Those are all in the past!"

"Now, you only have two identities to choose from: one is to submit to me and become my enforcer, and the other is to continue resisting, and then become an endless, miserable Universe wanderer."

"Originally, I promised Odin to banish you and your great-uncle to fragmented Universes, never to return to this World."

"However, who told me to care about the issue of recyclable waste! Based on the principle of recycling, I've decided to give you an opportunity for re-employment."

"Now, make your choice! Your good great-uncle is still waiting for me to deal with him!"

Kytheron laid it all out directly, and his eyes were already faintly red!

Upon hearing Kytheron call her 'waste', Hela wished she could fly over and stab a sword through Kytheron's mouth.

But looking at Kytheron's threatening demeanor, though the proud Hela desperately wanted to continue resisting, she understood she had no strength to do so.

"You mentioned my uncle, could it be God King Kuurth?"

"That's right! Odin sealed him in Midgard before me; now that he's dead, my dear uncle should also emerge."

Hela remembered; she did have an uncle, but he was defeated by Odin, who then seized the throne of God King.

This was also part of the reason Hela rebelled when Odin wanted to be a benevolent monarch!

After all, in Hela's view, since Odin had the heart to seize his brother's throne, he should have conquered the Nine Realms and even the entire Universe with even greater ruthlessness; benevolence was a sign of weakness.

"It seems you're prepared to resist to the end!"

Seeing Hela show no sign of submission, Omega Beams were already about to erupt from Kytheron's eyes again.

"Wait, I surrender!"

At this, Hela hurriedly shouted loudly, and she put away the Night Sky Sword in her hand.

Hearing this, Kytheron, however, manipulated the Omega Beams to curve, directly destroying the crown on Hela's head.

Both the crown and the cloak behind her were items Hela used to suppress the Death energy within her body.

After being destroyed by Kytheron, Hela felt the balance of life and Death energy within her body begin to break, and half of her face instantly turned into a skull.

Hela wanted to repair her crown, but it had been erased by the Omega Beams; her repairs were useless.

"So that's it! Your incredibly ugly hairstyle actually has this function."

Kytheron appeared in front of Hela, looking at her appearance as he spoke.

The Omega Beams shot out from his eyes again. Just as Hela thought Kytheron was going to erase her, she found that her crown had actually been restored!

This was the Omega Beams; they could restore objects they had erased.
