Ficool

Chapter 449 - 447

By the time they were roughly six hundred feet from the seaside villa, the sky had finally grown dark.

Nightfall made everything seem even quieter, leaving the sound of the waves against the shore remarkably clear.

Of course, those waves did not sound quite as authentic as the ones on Earth.

This colony satellite was merely a massive disk about six miles across, after all. Its artificial ocean only occupied a small portion of it.

A chibi Lacus mascot styled after a Mobile Suit, standing more than six feet tall, was currently walking across the beach.

It appeared to be taking a leisurely stroll, but its steps were noticeably stiff.

That was because the man serving as its exoskeleton was desperately trying to suppress his arousal.

He still felt unworthy whenever he thought about the pink-haired girl. Part of him could not bear the idea of staining her purity with even the slightest trace of impurity.

No matter how beautiful or captivating she was, no matter how badly he wanted to possess her, leave his mark on her, and cover her in his scent, the almost flawless aura she radiated made him feel that he could not allow the slightest blemish to touch her.

His mind had become a battlefield between an angel and a demon.

One side urged him not to drag this angel down into the mortal world. The other whispered that the angel had already given him permission to do anything he wanted, so refusing to act now was nothing but hypocrisy.

The angel herself no longer seemed interested in teasing him. She merely strolled along the beach like an innocent girl without a care in the world.

That would have been fine if she were walking alone.

The problem was that Kain was currently serving as her exoskeleton.

They had originally been separated by their bodysuits, but those had self-destructed thanks to 6O's design, leaving no physical barrier between them.

Every step the angel took caused her impossibly smooth skin to brush against him, putting his willpower through a trial unlike anything he had ever experienced.

"Mr. Kain, what kind of desserts do you like?"

Lacus stopped humming and abruptly asked him the question.

As she spoke, she stopped walking, and Kain naturally halted with her.

She instinctively tried to turn around while asking him. The costume prevented her from actually doing so, but the attempted motion still caused her body to twist slightly.

That allowed her to clearly feel a certain presence, and her heart suddenly began beating faster.

The slight pressure almost seemed to wake it, only for Kain to force it back into submission.

He must be terribly conflicted.

Lacus found this side of him rather adorable.

"I'm not particularly picky. As long as it isn't some culinary abomination and tastes good to most people, I'll eat it."

"I see. Then it's settled. We'll make macarons."

A few minutes later, they reached the villa.

The others, who should have arrived before them, were nowhere to be seen.

The sightseeing cart was not parked nearby either. Apparently, after dropping them off, it had merely continued past the villa.

Without anyone else to pull down the oversized mascot's zipper, opening it from the inside proved rather difficult.

Lacus did not want the costume damaged, so they had to twist and struggle for quite some time before finally managing to open it.

Kain was naturally the first to emerge.

After him came the princess who used the ID "The Universe's Greatest Songstress" on the Interdimensional Channel.

She still possessed a hint of youthful innocence, yet every proportion of her body was so exquisitely perfect that she seemed like a world-class masterpiece sculpted by human hands.

In a sense, she was.

Coordinators had been genetically modified to possess near-perfect bodies.

That work of art was now completely uncovered, without so much as a scrap of fabric concealing it. The sight filled Kain's vision so completely that he lost control of his thoughts for several seconds.

When he finally recovered, he reached for his clothes.

"Don't put those on yet."

A slender hand stopped him.

"I want to make macarons next, and I'd like you to help me. Your clothes might get dirty, so if you're going to wear something, then..."

The pink-haired girl trailed off and hurried toward the kitchen.

When she returned, she was carrying something for him. Just before placing it in his hands, however, she pulled it back and began putting it on him herself.

"Hmm. It really is a little small."

Once she had finished, Lacus looked him over and made that observation, leaving Kain speechless.

Of course it was small. It belonged to Lacus and had been made to fit her body.

Fortunately, it was not a dress or anything of that nature. It was merely a kitchen apron.

Lacus tied another apron around herself, making it look as though they were wearing matching couples' aprons.

More importantly, the aprons were the only things either of them was wearing.

"Now, let's make the macarons. Mr. Kain, I'd like you to help with..."

She took him by the hand, led him into the kitchen, and began assigning him tasks.

Several minutes later, all the necessary ingredients had been arranged across the counter.

"Mr. Kain, do you really like the way Anna made her desserts? If you do, we could try it ourselves."

Lacus's cheeks grew even redder as she asked the question in a soft voice.

Her words possessed incredible destructive power. Kain's mind seemed to stop working altogether.

It sounded as though Lacus truly would grant his wish if he simply said that was what he wanted.

He studied her expression carefully, but she did not seem to be teasing him.

She looked more like a chef who sincerely wanted to create a dessert that perfectly suited her guest's tastes. There were no ulterior motives in her expression, only pure and innocent dedication.

That very innocence made her six or seven times more dangerous.

"Would that really be all right?"

What?

He had spoken aloud. Worse, he had not even realized that he had answered until the words were already out.

That alone demonstrated how terrifying Lacus was at that moment. Her seemingly guileless purity and angelically innocent smile made her impossible to resist.

"As long as it's something you like, I can try making it for you. However, I've never extracted the special ingredient before, so I'm not familiar with the process. You should be quite experienced with extracting it, though. You're especially fond of extraction in that intertwined position, aren't you?"

Her expression, tone, and mannerisms all belonged to a girl as pure as a blank sheet of paper, one who seemingly had no idea how suggestive her words were.

Yet what she said sounded like something only a mischievous witch could have uttered.

That contrast made her even more alluring. Kain finally understood that some people truly possessed enough natural charm to enchant the mind without relying on any kind of psychic influence.

While her words left him momentarily dazed, she suddenly rose onto her toes and leaned closer. Her delicate arms wrapped around his neck.

Her cherry-blossom lips pressed against his.

When their lips parted, she gazed at him through misty eyes.

If those jewel-like eyes could speak, they seemed to be telling him that he could extract the ingredient in whatever manner he preferred.
