A sinister glint flashed in Su Xinyao's eyes, but it was quickly masked by a gentle smile.
She turned around and began laughing and chatting with the hospital director, as if the person who just had murder in her heart was a mere illusion.

Because of the donation, the director's attitude toward her was very respectful.
"The meeting will probably go on for a while. You should go back to the room and rest."

"I'll have a guard watch the door. Tell me immediately if anything happens."
Su Tang shook her head and squeezed his hand. "I'm fine. Now that she's here, there's no avoiding her."
She glanced toward the office, where Su Xinyao was signing a document with a fountain pen.
The meeting didn't end until late at night.
