The first thing she saw was Fei Jin's young, handsome face.
Song Qingya froze. She couldn't help but reach out and gently stroke his face.
"No wrinkles... no white hair."
The face before her was still young and handsome.
Once she was sure she had finally returned to reality, all of Song Qingya's suppressed emotions came flooding out.
She threw herself into Fei Jin's arms and began to sob.
"That was terrifying."
Song Qingya clutched tightly at Fei Jin's clothes.
Her tears soaked his shoulder, and for a moment, Fei Jin had no idea what to do.
Seeing her tear-streaked face, his heart couldn't help but ache for her.
"Qingya, what's wrong? What did you dream about?"
Fei Jin asked softly.
"I dreamed that you abandoned me."
Song Qingya's voice was choked with sobs.
"Don't be silly. I would never leave you."
Fei Jin tried to comfort her.
"But you did leave me!"
Song Qingya was on the verge of wailing.
