Chu Jing stroked his head, making Qiu Ye's heart flutter with delight. He subconsciously took her hand, but afraid of hurting her, he didn't dare squeeze it. He only held it lightly, his fingers barely grazing her skin.
The warmth from her palm put him at ease.
'A little female beast is naturally fragile; she must be held in the palm of one's hand.'
He had always remembered those words and always put them into practice.

Chu Jing had no desire to hear another word from Goye. She turned and pulled Qiu Ye away.
The wind lifted strands of her hair, brushing them over her shoulders.
After a few steps, she tossed another sentence over her shoulder. "Xuyue, if you don't leave now, don't bother coming to see me ever again."
With that said, she continued walking without a single glance back.
Xuyue looked back at Goye, his eyes full of helplessness.
He sighed softly. "If you hadn't left back then, why must things be like this now?"
