BAM!
Chu Jing had anticipated this.
She had been watching Jiang Ji's every move from the moment he leaped onto the platform.
The instant she saw the White Fox's figure plummeting from the sky,
her hands had already completed a series of hand signs in mid-air.
Several large safety nets, woven from vines she had prepared in advance, descended from above.
They safely caught the White Fox that had fallen from the platform.
Everything was under control.
As her hands slowly lowered,
the enormous net, as if guided by an invisible force, descended silently from mid-air.
It landed gently on the soft earth before slowly unfurling.
Chu Jing walked over and knelt to get a closer look.
She soon discovered that the White Fox, whose fur should have been lustrous, now had numerous scratches, both deep and shallow, on his face.
"Well, well, weren't you off to serve justice? How did this mission end up so disastrous? You took a nastier fall than anyone."
