Henry Hartwell, the journalist: "Alright, alright, fine. Just hurry up and have him save me."
Claire Sinclair replied with a simple "Mhm," then called Adrian Quincy.
Every time she called him, her heart was in her throat. She was afraid he'd be too busy to answer, or that he'd just hang up on her.
After a few seconds, the call finally connected!
Claire's heart tightened, and she quickly said, "Mr. Quincy, hello!"
"Mm, what is it?"
"It's about Teacher Hartwell. He asked me to have you give him a call. I'm not sure what it's about... If you're very busy, you don't have to. I've passed on the message for him, at any rate."
"Thomas Miles is probably giving him a hard time. As it happens, I'm on my way to the Capitol. I won't call him; I'll go see him in person."
"Oh..." 'The Capitol is so far from here. That means it'll be a long time before he gets back.'
They had only been apart for a short while, but she was already starting to miss him terribly.
