「The Osborne Residence」
Ryan Osborne hadn't come home all night, which was a huge deal in the Osborne family.
Jasmine Osborne hadn't slept a wink all night. She left a floor lamp on, waiting for Ryan Osborne, but even as dawn broke, she heard no sign of a car outside.
She washed up early and went downstairs to ask the family's housekeeper, "Mrs. Lewis, did my brother come back last night?"
"He didn't," Mrs. Lewis said with a smile as she prepared breakfast. "Miss Jasmine, breakfast is ready. I'll go upstairs and call your father and mother."
"I'm not eating," Jasmine said, pouting unhappily. 'I wonder where my brother could possibly be.'
She grabbed her bag and headed for the door.
"Miss, where are you going? Don't you have class today?"
"I'm not going!" Jasmine's voice trailed off as she exited the villa, got into her little car, and drove away.
