"Jasper, you have someone suitable in mind?" the director asked, looking around.
Jasper's index finger tapped his temple as if in thought. Everyone watched him, waiting for his answer.
Suddenly, he pointed in Nate Jennings's direction.
Nate Jennings buried her face, clamping her hands over her head, terrified someone would see her.
"Miss Jennings...?" The director was a little surprised. He studied her carefully from head to toe. She didn't resemble Bernie at all.
"This..."
"Have her turn around. We just need to see her from behind," Jasper said, pointing again. "Nate Jennings, turn around."
The smile on Nate Jennings's face froze. She said hurriedly, "Jasper, stop messing around. I don't look anything like Bernie."
"Nate, please. Bernie really can't..." Bernie's assistant had somehow slipped through the crowd and was now beside Nate Jennings.
Nate Jennings looked at the assistant's pitiful, pleading eyes, gritted her teeth, and said, "Fine."
