Ashley Bowen wrapped her arms around her and nodded happily. 'She'd finally done one good thing.'
After dropping Ashley Bowen and Vivian Lee off at the villa's entrance, Keith Flores drove the car into the underground parking garage himself.
The two had just reached the entrance when the main door swung open. Nia, like a hungry little cub, threw herself into Vivian Lee's arms and grumbled, "Mommy, why are you back so late?"
Vivian Lee glanced at the nanny standing behind Nia. The nanny looked troubled and explained, "She insisted on waiting up for you. There was nothing I could do. I even made her some milk, but she refused to drink it, saying she would only have it when her mommy came back."
Watching Nia cling to her mother, Ashley Bowen couldn't help but think of her own son. That little guy wasn't shy with strangers at all; he could warm up to anyone instantly.
But having been away for a whole day, she was really starting to miss him.
